The Gallagher brothers are said to be in discussions with the venue, which is rapidly establishing itself as the UK capital's premier live music destination. Claims in the UK press today suggest the band are considering an extended residency at the former Millennium Dome. Oasis are understood to be in California mixing their new album, the follow-up to 2005's "Don't Believe The Truth", for release later this year. In 2007, the O2 Arena launched its live programme with a 21-date run of gigs from Prince, which was soon followed by lengthy runs from Take That and Spice Girls. Michael Jackson, U2 and Coldplay are also being linked with the venue, while the Eagles yesterday confirmed they will play four shows there this March.
