My first information was for Mint Royale at 15 and OneRepublic at 16.Then i haven't seen the show and can't be sure what was shown.I count sometimes only on the internet updates.Speaking of this the last update was 13 days ago, which makes me angry a bit.

I`ve checked some old playlists and this is correct.

Jamse, I watched the chart in question and they showed Mint Royale at number 16 and OneRepublic at number 15. However, according to ALL Internet sources it was the opposite. Still, I had watched the chart... But sometimes MTV do make mistakes in the broadcasting. I decided to watch the chart on that Lithuanian site which tsetsi gave us earlier - and on MTV Lithuania they played OneRepublic at number 16 and Mint Royale at number 15. That was enough to completely convince me!

tsetsi, I certainly wouldn't mind it if you post the newest edition of European Top 20! Unfortunately, just like last year, at Christmas time MTV Hits don't play the chart so I haven't been able to watch it at all! Where did you get it from?

MTV European Top 20 №51/20.12.2008

1. ( 2 ) Beyonce - If I Were A Boy

2. ( 1 ) Britney Spears - Womanizer

3. ( 3 ) The Killers - Human

4. ( 4 ) Pink - So What

5. ( 7 ) Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl

6. ( 10 ) T.I. Feat. Rihanna - Live Your Live

7. ( 9 ) Katy Perry - Hot N Cold

8. ( 5 ) Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008

9. ( 12 ) Alicia Keys & Jack White - Another Way To Die

10. ( 6 ) Coldplay - Viva La Vida

11. ( 17 ) Lady GaGa Feat. Colby O'Donis - Just Dance

12. ( 8 ) Madcon - Beggin'

13. ( 11 ) The Script - The Man Who Can't Be Moved

14. ( 13 ) Rihanna - Disturbia

15. ( 14 ) Kanye West - Love Lockdown

16. ( 18 ) The Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up

17. ( * ) Alesha Dixon - The Boy Does Nothing

18. ( 19 ) Leona Lewis - Forgive Me

19. ( 16 ) Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire

20. ( * ) Akon - Right Now (Na Na Na)

It was only a matter of time to see Beyonce as a winner here in the European Top 20.She is no stranger to the top at all while 3 of her chart entries were at No.1.Her chart history so far is the following:

2002 ( 9 ) Work It Out

2003 ( 1 ) Crazy In Love

2003 ( 3 ) Baby Boy

2004 ( 6 ) Naughty Girl

2006 ( 1 ) Check On It

2006 ( 3 ) Deja vu

2006 ( 3 ) Irreplaceable

2007 ( 20 ) Listen

2007 ( 1 ) Beautiful Liar

In other hand not a lot of movement this week.We have strange climbings back from Katy Perry,Lady GaGa and The Pussycat Dolls.Alicia Keys and jack White are becoomig only the second Bond Theme to have a top 10 hit after Tina Turner's "Golden Eye" way back in 1995.This is strange to me because this song imo is very bland and maybe the worst Bond Theme ever.I don't know why but Guru Josh's Infinity slides down 3 places-i thought it would be a challanger for the top spot this week.Going straight to the No.1 imo is Katy Perry's second entry this week "Hot N Cold".Maybe the beginning of 2009 will be her time for grabbing the front seat. But the best thing that happens this week is our highest new entry.Alesha Dixon never had a chart hit here with her former group Mis-Teeq,but now she appears new at 17 with "The Boy Does Nothing"-a song which makes me dancing around every time i hear it and which deserves a big chart success. Also new is Akon with yet another song which sounds just like every other song from him..........There should be one more chart for this year but who knows what will happen.MTV has published some year-end Top 10 list with number ones for every chart that airs and here is the one for Euro Top 20:

1 MADONNA ft.J. TIMBERLAKE 4 MINUTES

2 RIHANNA DON'T STOP THE MUSIC

3 KATY PERRY I KISSED A GIRL

4 COLDPLAY VIVA LA VIDA

5 DUFFY MERCY

6 RIHANNA TAKE A BOW

7 KID ROCK ALL SUMMER LONG

8 BRITNEY SPEARS WOMANIZER

9 GABRIELLA CILMI SWEET ABOUT ME

10 LEONA LEWIS BLEEDING LOVE

This list has nothing to do with the real number one achievments, because Britney has been No.1 for 2 weeks and Leona for 3.What was the reason for placing her so high still looks like a mistery. You can see the year-end list next week here, when i hope to see yet another update for a weekand hopefully in 2009 more up to date editions.

Jamse, I watch the "standard" MTV European Top 20 - the one that is broadcast on MTV Hits and (a week later) on MTV Europe with Charlotte as the chart's presenter. I think some of the local MTV's have local presenters - at least I'm sure about MTV Lithuania and MTV Latvia.

It will be interesting to see whether there is one final edition of European Top 20 before the end of 2008. During the chart of December 20 Charlotte announced that it was the last chart of 2008, wished us Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and said "See you back in 2009". However, last year the same happened - when she presented the chart of December 29, 2007, she called it "the first chart of 2008". So I guess the calculation of dates is different. Anyway, what I mean is that I expect there to be a chart for December 27, 2008 (even if it's called the first chart of 2009) - and I'll find that out very soon, in fact just in a couple of hours!

I'm afraid they didn't broadcast a new chart on MTV Hits either on Monday or on Friday - they played some hits from 2008 instead. I guess it will take some more time to find out whether there was one last chart for the year (or, more precisely, whether the next chart should be considered a chart from 2008 or 2009)...
There is a new chart. Its not online, but I've seen it on MTV. The presenter did mention it was 2009 already, so I guess its the first chart of the new year
