For me, I find Girls Aloud extremely boring and repetitive. Songs like Sound Of The Underground, to Jump, to the Show, to their latest material, it's all the same.

I agree, I think there are different types of GA songs which seem similar to each other. 'Wake Me Up', 'The Show', 'No Good Advice' and 'Sexy! No No No..." all remind me of each other in some way. Girls Aloud are definitely not the most innovative pop bands of the 21st century at all. Sure, they are more innovative than Westlife or something, but they really don't change much from song to song.

I just find the Sugababes more diverse 'Change', 'Denial' and 'About You Now' are all by the same line up and same album and I find that they sound completely different.

No-one ever said that, one of the most - yes.

So 'Call The Shots' sounds the same as 'Sexy! No No No'? ... thought not.

You lot really ain't getting the point  SNNN!, CTS and CSF sound completly different too! so how is that point justified?

I know. How oblivious?!! Obviously here just to Girls Aloud-bash.

'Wake Me Up', 'The Show', 'No Good Advice' and 'Sexy! No No No..."
Thats 4 out of 19 singles mentioned...

Are you kidding me? You are clearly blinded by complete and utter bias.

If Wake Me Up, The Show, No Good Advice and Sexy! are similiar I could easily say the same about In The Middle, Round Round, Red Dress. They all sound similar in some way too if the 4 GA songs you mentioned do as well.

Exactly ;) just ignore them, they're trying to put GA down, but don't have a valid point at all.

A vo-coder is used to intoduce 'Sexy! No No No'

Girls Aloud are without doubt one of the most innovative pop bands of the 21st century ... fact.

Their producers are, yes. Xenomania have done some of their best and some of their most average work with GA, but it's time the girls looked at working with somebody else.

Why when they've scored 5 platinum selling albums and 18 consecutive top 10 singles with their help? ... If it aint broke, dont fix it.

they were all done by the same producer ;) eg. you can tell that maneater and sexy back were both timbaland productions.

round round doesn't sound like anything else. FACT. the girls chose 3 separate pieces of music to write thier verses to. hence the f***ed up sound it has.

S!NNN doesn't sound identical too biology but it does have certain similarities.

and coolnav "Obviously here just to Girls Aloud-bash." i could say the same about you and suga-bashing but that would be petty.

tbh there will never be a resolution if you can't see the point of veiw of the other side.

oh, and biology is genius, i love how it takes half the song just to get to the first chorus

You tell me what i've said about Sugbabes thats soo bad and that cant be backed up with a valid point.

Every song is gonna have similarities, but it doesnt mean they all sound the same. Girls Aloud dont need to change anything about their sound or approach to pop music.

Out of 18 singles, nearly every track is totally different and innovative.

Remember, some of Sugababes tracks are going to sound very different from each other ... remember 2 members in the current formation werent even in the original line up. Amelle didnt have the input she has now on the first 4 sugababes albums and cant be heard on them either, so of course the singles before her and Heidi joined are going to sound completely different.

Don't get me wrong. i never said they should change their approach, as you said if it ain't broke don't fix it.

however to say that all 19 singles were unique is daft and naive

I didnt say that. Nearly every track is diffrent.

Sorry, where do you get your information from? They've had 17 consecutive top 10 singles. I assume you were counting "St Trinian's" and "Can't Speak French" in your figure, one didn't reach the top 10 and hardly anyone classes it as a single and the other one hasn't even charted yet.

Sorry, let me correct. It will be 18 once 'Cant Speak French' is released and stands at 17 atm.

What kind of logic is that?! I'm not saying start making metal music, I'm just saying start taking risks with their producers. They have no input in any of their songs because Xenomania already has such a large team of writers. If the girls worked with other producers like Richard X they could keep a similar sound but start to have a little more input and thus progress.

As far as I know, Xenomania are Brian Higgins (music) and Miranda Cooper (lyrics) - as it appears on their credits... that's not a veeeery large team

And this debate is a bit pointless, their songs and albums dont sound samey, they are more inovative than most of the acts out there, and they do take risks sometimes (S!NNN for example) . So I dont see the reason why they should change a thing, as long as they keep releasing so exciting music and keep being innovative :)

And regarding the "input" thing, there are a lot of artists who just put their name on the credits, after writing about two words and that's all... At least they're not hyprocrital, and I'm fine with it. They are not "musicians", but they're great performers with the whole package.

No offense to the Sugababes, but I don't really believe Amelle has got as much involvment as the two other girls in the writing of the songs, or that her ability to write songs is on the same level... but she's still on the credits, because it sounds "cool" for a band to write their own songs... (And excuse me but you dont need to be a genius to write the "About you know" lyrics btw :P )

Exactly. If their songs started to sound samey and started to miss the top 10 then maybe they should think about moving away from Xenomania - but thats not happened yet so theres NO NEED for GA to change a thing.

END OF.

Don't 'END OF.' me! That's plain sh!tting ignorant. Your opinion is NOT final; mine is that they should work with more producers.

And you've expressed your opinion. So it is END OF imo.

Why do you want to say the same thing 5 times? We all know you think they should work with different producers but the facts speak for themsleves and 17 top 10 singles were produced by Xenomania.
