February 11, 200817 yr I would have voted Sugababes if mutya was still part of the group but i think they lack something without her they don't seem to gel anymore ...so i Voted for girls Aloud :D
February 11, 200817 yr I would have voted Sugababes if mutya was still part of the group but i think they lack something without her they don't seem to gel anymore ...so i Voted for girls Aloud :D Me too - I saw them on the Take That New Year gig and they were awful. Amelle struggled through every song. Edited February 11, 200817 yr by munchkin
February 11, 200817 yr We could find out the answer as they are both releasing singles on the same day :naughty: For me i love both but it's gotta be GA as they are more consistent and have more personality than the suga's!!
February 11, 200817 yr Although the Sugababes have sold more of the album than GA so far, so they are at an immediate disadvantage singles-wise.
February 11, 200817 yr Me too - I saw them on the Take That New Year gig and they were awful. Amelle struggled through every song. Amelle's boyfriend was critical in hospital at the time, and though she wasn't as bad as you're suggesting, I doubt her mind was fully on the task.
February 11, 200817 yr and coolnav, if you think 5 people singing at different notes at the same time in a attempt at harmony is amazing, then what ever floats your boat is what i say. Oh dear, i think you need to re-listen. They harmonised extremely well and both live lounge covers the girld have done have been amazing. Amelle's boyfriend was critical in hospital at the time, and though she wasn't as bad as you're suggesting, I doubt her mind was fully on the task. Yes, ok. But all of them were pretty dire! Heidi was atrocious as she is most of the time sounding as if she's sat on a vibrating chair, full whack.
February 11, 200817 yr I voted Sugababes LOL. I've never liked GA anyway. :kink: Oh and if people want to argue in this thread then just let them.
February 12, 200817 yr Oh yay I'm sure they're sooooo happy to win this so important poll by a so important margin, that's probably the peak of their career
February 12, 200817 yr No no, the peak of their career is two 400,000-selling #1 mega singles which both ended up in the Top 10-sellers of their respective release years in the UK, as well as three other #1 singles, two #1 albums and three triple platinum studio albums in a row. ;)
February 12, 200817 yr My god, who is still using the word "mega" nowadays? It does sound so past. Btw, I was only trying to make a bit of humour, which I think is better than arguing about the poll, so don't be that serious and "oulala, look, they are sooo popular", because we all already know they are very successful. -_- Edited February 12, 200817 yr by Xmas Bertie
February 12, 200817 yr Jeeesh this is all getting so childish :( Edit: Does it really matter who wins Edited February 12, 200817 yr by Simon.
February 12, 200817 yr Noooooooo, Sugababes are winning by a greater margin than last time I checked. :(
February 12, 200817 yr GIRLS ALOUD They've been far more consistent singles-wise than THE SHUGS. And how this thread managed to pass me by for so long is beyond me..
February 12, 200817 yr I know they've both done really well, but I've always thought the Sugababes have produced much better music and songs, which I prefer, I also think they've had a lot more success internationally?
