the advert for the In your Room CD/DVD boxset says it has promo videos for Don't Go, Nobody's Diary and Only You on it but has (1999) after the last one- so was this stuff re-issue before in 1999? and if not is this a video a remixed tune or what?

Mute released 'Only Yazoo' without Moyet's consent in 1999, alongwith some single remixes by Todd Terry and others...some of which were excellent.

 

 

YouTube's got quite a few of the live performances from the opening shows in Copenhaqgen - and it looks pretty superb.... Situation, Goodbye 70s, Nobodys Diary...they aint ever sounded as good. A rarity -Yazoo are a band who sound better now than they did then...

btw heard anything of the new Moby album? - I've only heard that free CD in the paper - put of the new tracks on that and excepting the 1989 revival track all the disco tracks sounded like they were were quite Erasure/Yazoo-ish (you could see where Moyet or Bell could be put on the track) and all the downtempo ones quite Goldfrapp Felt Mountain-esque - wonder if Mute got loads of freebies from Mute :lol: with a reading of TVOD rejected along the way for not being New York enough :lol:
