12. Bad Girls feat. J-Kay

 

Yes Yes Yes. Jamiroquai frontman J-Kay teamed up equally with Anastacia for the cover of the Donna Summer hit 'Bad Girls' at the Brits 2001/[or was it 2002]? But anyway. Two extremely different artists. Both had whacky styles, Anastacia was meddling about with the whole 1970's funk, RnB, Pop, Eurodance etc. and then here was J-Kay and his 'Acid Jazz' genre, and the two diverse voices, surley it was going to be one big dump. HELL NO. In fact, it was a pretty decent collaboration which was sadly over shaddowed by the hiddeous Kylie + Justin Timberlake duet. But hey, $h!t happens.

I liked her hat in this performance, was a nice performance :lol:

It was 2002. The song was sooo fun. It came with 1 of the singles....

hated her clothes, the performance was cool tho

Amazing performance. One of her best vocally

i loved her style and the song is reaallyyy good!

11. Jailhouse Rock

 

One of THEE best Elvis Presly covers I've heard. There's no cheap naff impressions here, it's Anastacia's own take on 'Jailhouse Rock'. There are two versions on this, both equally as good as the other. Her voice is PERFECT for the song. The raw grittyness blends with the meaning of the song, esp when she goes, "Everybody's lets rawwwk". Plus her own interp big notes are spot on to.

its cool - her voice sounds a bit different here.. like its being compressed, maybe its just the video sound
