Posted January 21, 200817 yr Janet Jackson's new single Feedback bombs 19/01/2008 Janet Jackson's latest single hasn't even made the top 100 download chart - after three weeks on sale. Whoops! Now her label, Island Records might pull the plug on bringing the CD version to the UK. Feedback is the first single from Janet's new album, Discipline, due out in February. After her last album flopped, the pressure is on the 41-year-old diva. A source told 3am: "The poor figures are no surprise as Janet isn't big news right now."
January 21, 200817 yr Erm, no :mellow: Didn't you read what the article said? :wacko: It said that Island MIGHT pull the plug on it, although doubtless they'll realise that seeing as radio/video play has only just started it was unlikely to sell much up until now, and could we have a NAME for this mystery source? :) This entire article screams fake tbh, no source, deliberately written vaguely and with no recognition that a track is unlikely to make waves before it even has radio/video play -_- Can some kind mod please change the title and the author kindly read what he is posting before he goes around spouting false allegations? :)

January 22, 200817 yr Tyron makes a good point though, it has no source and isn't very well written. This would be a huge mistake if it's true. You may as well say Kylie's "Wow" shouldn't be released either because it's at the bottom of the Top30 with no video and little airplay... :rolleyes: Feedback will be a Top20 at least for Janet, which isn't amazing for a lead single but hey come on after the 20YO disaster it's not exactly an unwelcome position. :lol:

January 29, 200817 yr #14 is good, but i remember them saying "oh, this is her comeback single", "this is going to be hot", etc and it didn't make the top 10. and then there was that thing with j.lo where the media were putting two divas up against eachother. it was each their comeback album. j.lo's "get right" did better than carey's "it's like that", but then the tables turned with the second single and mariah sold millions and j.lo flopped.
January 31, 200817 yr I never saw the point of making the download available so early, if it hasn't had hardly any radio play or video play then people aren't exactly gonna download it are they?? The download should have been made available after the video was released!! Looks like this is gonna be yet another flop for Janet :angry: :angry: :cry: :cry:
February 5, 200817 yr Oh dear! I didn't even know she was back y'know til i saw the video on chart hits. The song isn't amazing but its ok and she looks nice towards the end of the video clip. I hope she doesn't give up just yet. Seems like she isn't very good at promoting her stuff!
