It's funny it happened just then. I'm sitting watching Darius: A Lover's Guide . my friend phoned to ask me to tape Holby City for her tonight and of course I immediately went into must find a blank tape mode. Good job I wondered why the apparently blank tape wasn't rewound.

 

I just had to watch it. It's strange listening to Darius talking about finding the one, your soulmate, knowing that now he really believes he has.

 

I'm not recording over that! I'll have to find another blank or nip over to the local newsagent/convenience store and buy a new one.

My next lucky dip came up with the Saturday Top Of The Pops with Darius and GA in the love lift.

 

 

I've found a tape - an old football match between Aberdeen and a European side Dnipro. Holby City will be a vast improvement on that.

 

 

A Lover's Guide and that TOTPS had a similar scene - :wub: Darius in a white bathrobe. Can't fault that. I'm wondering if the set of photos in the mag were a separate photoshoot or stills from one of these.

I found onee of my tapes - put it in the video and it got eaten.

Someday I will be able to afford that machine to transfer them all to DVD, but right now I'm facing major outlay for repairs /re-roofing and solicitors fees for finding my title deeds and making a will. I might even have to raid my Darius fund!

Only if you can leave enough to see you through, BT. I'd hate him to do something and you not be able to get there. Let the roof fall in instead.

I would love to transfer my videos - I have this awful sense that down the line I wont be able to look at any of them, my cassette player has already chewed most of my darius audio tapes!
