January 23, 200817 yr Pretty lame really. There's people going onto buses with knives and drugs in their pockets, yet when a couple who look "different" attempt to go onto the bus they're shoved right off.
January 23, 200817 yr Uhhhh....in fairness, there's GOTHS - then there's people who are RIDDLED WITH ISSUES. What kind of people go round just chillin with dog leads on them and stuf man? It's for their safety to though because God help them if they got on a bus where I live lol.
January 23, 200817 yr Author I can sort of see it from Arriva's point of view that they have to look out for the safety of the passengers. But in today's issue of the Mirror, they were ordered of the bus by the driver who bluttered out to them "We don't let freaks and dogs on the bus" That's certainly discrimination but that type of comment doesn't surprise me from a bus driver.
January 23, 200817 yr that its utterly PATHETIC. what tf did they expect the goths to do?... eat someone? bite their necks? lord goths have been around for nearly 30 fcukin years they are nothin new.... i wonder who the driver is... <_< i bet they have no trouble letting muslims on, when was the last time a fcukin goth hi-jacked a plane and flew it into a building?... or chavs.... chavs are a danger, they are scum, ive NEVER heard of a goth or even a 'wannabe' goth cause any trouble. out of all the contemporary groups/genres in 'yoof culture' goths are the most passive... i hope arriva gets taken to court.... unwarranted, unfounded, discrimination.
January 23, 200817 yr Just a bit racist there then? Ahah. Tbh I WOULD stick up for Arriva, but they're the $h!ttest bus company around. Always late, drivers never know where they're going, it's just a shambles.

Well it's nothing that bad, I've seen more extreme styles out and about/in my school. Tbf, I get more worried of a bus if I have to sit next to an oap. :P

January 24, 200817 yr In The Sun today ...... Fella treats me just like any pet Dani strokes Tasha's tum after she has been a good girl TEENAGER Tasha Maltby is never likely to run away from boyfriend Dani Graves – he keeps her on a lead when they go out. For the barking-mad fact is that the pretty 19-year-old likes to live as the PET of her Gothic-dressing “master”. The pair’s odd appearance makes them look like rejects from a Pulp Fiction audition – and as The Sun revealed yesterday, their behaviour has so disturbed a bus driver he refuses to let them on. Dani, 25, not only takes Tasha for walks on a lead, he rubs her tummy when she’s good and generally ensures she is house-trained. He even has a set of Tasha’s Pet Rules which she has signed and must follow every day. She says: “I am Dani’s pet and it is all I have ever wanted to be. I’ve always been animal-like and I’ve wanted to be a pet since I don’t know when, but I never quite understood it. “Then a few years ago I read a magazine and realised other people did it, so I did too. I’m happier being a pet than anything else. I don’t like making decisions so I let Dani do that for me. “Then he plays with me and strokes my tummy if I’ve done what he asked. I don’t have to do anything for myself except get snacks and wash. I eat and sleep a lot and get a lot of love and attention, just like a regular pet.” Their day starts with Dani choosing Tasha’s outfit. She goes to the bathroom where a message in eyeliner from Dani reminds her to brush her teeth. Then a close encounter with a spider in the bath has her running to the sofa and curling up in a ball until Dani removes it. Later it’s time for some playing and training. When Dani shouts to her that he is getting dressed, she miaows and moans that she wants to play with her tennis ball. Dani will ask for her “paw” and some kisses before reminding her not to bark or hiss at anyone in the street. If she is good she gets a tummy-rub – making her purr contentedly – but she prefers sweets and chocolates. If she is especially good, she gets a slab of steak. Tasha says: “I’m like any other normal pet – I like special treats and I get spoilt rotten.” Tasha’s rules say she has to wear her collar at all times except when washing or sleeping. Dani keeps her on a lead when they go out but he lets her run free in the park, as he thinks it’s important that she gets plenty of exercise. She doesn’t have to wear a lead when she goes out by herself but needs Dani’s permission to leave their flat in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Jobless Dani, who is on the dole, says: “We have a set of rules but there is nothing in there that Tasha isn’t 100 per cent happy with. She is completely animal-like and even demanded that she has to be trained. “It’s automatic – as soon as I touch her neck, she purrs like a contented kitten.” The rules which Tasha has signed up to include being “as animal-like as is possible – except when we are visiting family.” In fact Tasha admits the arrangement took some getting used to for her parents. She admits: “My dad doesn’t like what I do but my mum is OK with it.” The regulations also state that Tasha has to “tidy up after herself, put things away after she has used them and rinse out the bath after use, etc.” She is also banned from drinking “excessive amounts of alcohol”. In return Dani has agreed to do all the cooking and cleaning – Tasha gets breakfast in bed each morning – as well as choosing Tasha’s clothes each day and taking her for a daily walk, unless the weather is bad. He has also promised to “train Tasha daily till she has been fully trained”. Tasha, who studies music technology two days a week at college – for which she’s allowed off the lead – reckons most locals take their lifestyle in their stride. She says: “We know some of the staff in the post office and they are all nice to us. I go into the shops with Dani because I wouldn’t like to be tied up outside – I like to explore.” The couple are regulars at Dewsbury’s Cedric Tapps pub, where landlord Richard Hart says: “They cause no bother. “There are a few Goths who come here but they drink wine or beer and make absolutely no fuss.” However it seems their opinion is not shared by all in the community. One customer simply mouths: “Weird ugly b******s” as Dani nips to the toilet. Tasha says: “It’s annoying when people do that. We are not hurting anyone and people don’t realise I’m not forced into doing anything. “I love my life. I get treated like a normal pet, Dani loves me, I love him and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” In summer she has two favourite trees in the park which she likes to cat-nap under. She says: “I’m on my lead outside most of the time but Dani takes me for daily walks in the park which is really good because I can run and play. “But we don’t go out if it’s wet because I hate the rain and it makes me want to stay in and nap on the sofa.” Tasha is allowed to hold her own lead when they catch a bus so she doesn’t get hurt when it jerks to a halt. In fact the rules seem so flexible that demonstrations of the owner-pet relationship seem mainly aimed at drawing attention to themselves whenever possible. Dani says: “Most bus drivers know us and are quite friendly. We’ve only had problems with one. “We get strange glances from other passengers but they tend mainly to stare for a bit but that’s it.” Tasha smiles at him and purrs in agreement. “Good girl, Tasha,” says Dani, as he tugs affectionately at her lead. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article720058.ece
January 24, 200817 yr  At that article, i find that really strange in all honesty, but like they say they aren't causing any trouble, unlike plenty of other people.
January 24, 200817 yr lol weirdos i wouldnt wanna sit next to them freaks on a bus! well unless they have started making seats for 3 on a bus instead of 2 you wont have too! and i much prefer people with some character then booorring 'sameish' people who dress to be booorrring....
January 24, 200817 yr he takes her around on a leash  wtf....... So fukkin what?? She's clearly giving her consent ffs and they are actually in a proper, grown-up relationship... <_< GROW THE FUKK UP PEOPLE!!!!! There's absolutely NOTHING that two consenting adults can do in a relationship that should be considered "weird" or "perverse"... That moron of a bus driver should be damn well sacked IMO, it's not for him to decide who's a 'freak' or not....
January 24, 200817 yr i wonder who the driver is... <_< i bet they have no trouble letting muslims on, when was the last time a fcukin goth hi-jacked a plane and flew it into a building?... Wrong example mate, you should've gone for, "when was the last time a goth blew themselves up on a bus?" . More relevant....

But good for them I say, they're happy with their life and thats all that matters right? It may seem weird to other people but to them its normal, its their life and people should butt out of it :)
January 24, 200817 yr Author Most pets get treated better than a human. Wouldn't we all want to be a pet. Don't have to worry about work, food and love is given to you doing your mess wherever you want and taking naps! It's a great life.
