Did anyone apart from me go to see WAITing... recently? it only got average reviews but i thought it was worth a view as part of a popcorn double feature

dont know what to make of it actually. was better than some of the reviews had it but so derivitive.

didnt know if it wanted to be a stoner film, an extreme gross out film directed by Richard Linklater of SubURbia fame or part of the View Askewniverse!!! it was like lions gate films had heard that clerks 2 had been green-lit and that it was gonna be in a Moobys restuarant and thought we'll upscale that to TGI Fridays and head them off at the pass!!! even the busboys were like mini-mes of jay and silent bob (however both with the dna of Jason Mewes in there   )

however must say Vanessa Lengies was quite a smouldering sexpot in the film, would get it for £3 just for her

I think it's trying to be a sorta Big Studio version of 'Clerks' or one of Linklater's films, but it's a bit unsure whether to go totally down that road or be more commercially appealing......

It's got good elements, but in the end it's a bit of a cop-out.....

dont you think a lot of films distributed by lions gates films have a similar look about them? like theres a massive stockpile of old film stuck in a warehouse in Canada that needs using
