OH MY at the final few minutes of the last episode! :o I must say I was pretty shocked.

You've scared me now Josh  We haven't seen it yet

Gonna get a chinese and a bottle(or 12  ) of wine, then sit down and watch it.

Yay! Supernatural returned last night about time and all, I liked it nice to see those guys in it again their funny, lol.

Absolutely BRILLIANT finale, rather unexpected, which I like.. I like shock endings and that's exactly what we got here.....

Sets things up rather superbly for series four I reckon....

That's what I think was so good about the episode. It was a complete shock... I didn't expect them to have the balls to do it either, but i'm glad they did do it.

I missed the rest of this series :( Forgot it was on. I am soo intrigued after reading this thread now that I'll probably have to go do illegal things to see it *drama*

There are spoilers for the first episode of Season 4 :cheer:

Yeah you really should watch it Graham! It's really good. For a show that only has a limited budget, where they go with the end of Season 3 is really good imo... and the last 10 minutes is quite shocking.

I've seen some of the Seaspn 4 spoilers and I must say

i'm disappointed Katie Cassidy won't be back next season as Ruby, but apparently Ruby's central to the mythology, so I guess they'll get a less high profile actor to play her when (if) she returns.

Finale Sunday, I'm really excited yet really nervous eek.

Wine  Chocolate  and tissues

I'm looking forward to the finale, I might have to wait till Thursday thought, damn Euro final

Just watched the Season 3 finale :cheer: It was great, started a little slow.

A few things though:

Why did Lilith stop at the end when she was going to kill Sam? Did he use his psychic mojo or something?

The opener to Season 4 will be fantastic B)

Yep! Lilith is scared of San, which is why she wanted him dead, but Sam's stronger than her because he was the "chosen one", so he could reverse what she was doing to him.

Yep, it looks like her powers had zero effect on Sam

I'm going to be really brave and watch the finale again tonight

When did he learn to use them, Ruby only said he had all this power at the beginning of the episode. Yet he somehow manages to use it hours later

I think it just came to him naturally. Ruby was trying to manipulate Sam, when I think Sam deep down always had the power in him... it's ages since i've seen the finale now, but his powers come out once Dean has gone to hell don't they? I think that's what unleashes his power, as he's so emotional, especially since Dean is in hell because of Sam in the first place!

That's a good point, he's always had them deep down but I guess watching Dean die was more than enough to bring them out

Still I can't wait for Season 4 :w00t:

Yes, when Ruby mentioned his powers, Sam said they had gone or something like that, but didn't Ruby say they were 'dormant'. Judging by the look on Sasm's face, he was just as suprised at Liliths powers having no effect on him as we were'

:o

Why am I writing with a spoiler quote, the finale has been aired
