January 27, 200817 yr You should be congratulated for your faithfulness, but I'm not for all this downloading of a song that didn't make it first time. I think it could be a real embarrassment for artists to have their old material dragged up. They've moved on ... they're better now as a group than they were the first time round. They've proved that they are a force to be reckoned with as a foursome. I think all this raking up of old material is detrimental to them. Sorry - that's just my opinion. Norma
January 27, 200817 yr id like to see the song chart myself as i do like his solo stuff so i will download it although i cant see it becoming a big hit but to get top 75 would be great
January 27, 200817 yr id like to see the song chart myself as i do like his solo stuff so i will download it although i cant see it becoming a big hit but to get top 75 would be great Well if you want to actually buy it Shameless - someone has suggested a site called Townsend Music that counts towards the chart and it selling the single for £1.99 (and I think that includes P&P). Norma
January 27, 200817 yr I MAY DO IT THAT WAY BUT I WANT TO BUY IT ION A WAY THAT IT COUNTS FOR CHART SO I WILL CHECK IT OUT, speaking of mark i often wonder did he lose much money on his own record company and what is the story with it now that he is with take that again
January 27, 200817 yr I MAY DO IT THAT WAY BUT I WANT TO BUY IT ION A WAY THAT IT COUNTS FOR CHART SO I WILL CHECK IT OUT, speaking of mark i often wonder did he lose much money on his own record company and what is the story with it now that he is with take that again I think Mark intends to continue with solo projects and Howard is definitely continuing his DJ career (he has a full diary for 2008 and I expect his fees have gone up now!) Don't know what Jason plans - although I think he has a writing bug (drama - not songs). Gary has no intention at all of pursuing a solo career again (I find it odd that the one with the best voice doesn't want to do it - still the press would crucify him like they did last time so I guess he doesn't want to be put through that again). I think Gary just wants to continue writing for other people. Norma
January 27, 200817 yr but i woner how long they plan to keep take that going as if i remember correctly they said they will be together as long as fans want it if they stay together i think albums will have long gaps in release so they can enjoy their personnel/family lives plus continue with solo work in which ever form also
January 29, 200817 yr no sign of in the midweeks so far I really can't see the point in this campaign. Fair enough - if 5,000 people download one copy each then yes - it proves a point - maybe the song does deserve recognition. But when you have people downloading a song something like 15 times (and much more sometimes) each, it proves nothing. And I've listened to the song again and its at best average! Norma
January 29, 200817 yr ITS NOT HIS BEST SONG NOR HIS BEST WORK BUT I DO LIKE IT,I DOWNLOADED IT ONCE AS I DONT BELIEVE In the the downloaidng 15 times thing either but i just hope it can chart top 75 especially for thise who got the campaign up and going as they put alot of time into it

And for that the Mark fans deserve something. I just think the stuff each of them is doing with Take That as a whole is so much superior to the stuff they do solo. Norma
January 29, 200817 yr i agree the group work is far superior but there are a few solo songs i ove as much as take that stuff i genuinly love yesterdays girl lie to me forever love chid for me all should have been huge number 1's, i only bought 1 of mark's solo album green man which was ok but patchy in places i would love mark to release a singles collection though i must say i also boght garys 2 solo albums and i enjoy open road but to this day is till love the 12 months 11 days album
January 30, 200817 yr I just think the stuff each of them is doing with Take That as a whole is so much superior to the stuff they do solo. Norma Wow...I sooo don't agree. The only bad thing about TT getting back together is the fact that there is no more solo stuff of Mark coming out. I love Take That, but I prefer Mark's solo albums/singles. I own all his albums, singles and the recently released live DVD. He's sooooo underrated! I agree 'Hail Mary' isn't his best song, but I like it. In fact I've got all his songs on my mp3-player and I never skip a song. They're all good! And the DVD is just breathtaking! His live performance just blew me away. I hope he takes time out this year to work on a new album! When it comes to Gary...well I like his voice, but I don't really like (all of) his solo stuff. I can listen to a couple of songs, but a whole CD...no. Just not my cup-of-tea....

Just not my cup-of-tea.... That's more than I can bear to listen to of Mark's  Seriously, if the Mark Owen fans are so disappointed with the stuff he's turning out with Take That ... why don't they all write to him 'care of' Polydor records and ask him to jack it in and go solo? Norma
January 31, 200817 yr Seriously, if the Mark Owen fans are so disappointed with the stuff he's turning out with Take That ... why don't they all write to him 'care of' Polydor records and ask him to jack it in and go solo? That's not what we, or at least I, want at all. He can do both! TT appear to be taking it slow in 2008 when it comes to band activities. Howard has numerous DJ-gigs planned for 2008 and Gary has also embarked on some solo projects . They can do their solo stuff and still be in Take That. I am absolutely not disappointed with what they turn out with Take That. (don't think I've said that anywhere) I think Beautiful World is the best of all TT-albums and I love them being back together. Absolutely ecstatic! And I'm a new (obsessed) TT-fan! I liked them the first time 'round but I never bought any of their records and didn't even notice their break-up. I didn't even know all the songs on their Ultimate Collection. (Love them all now!) I just think it's too bad that Mark didn't get the recognition he deserved for his solowork (as a singer and as a songwriter). If a download campaign can change that, I'm all for it!. When it comes to TT all credit still goes to Gary (don't get me wrong, I adore Gary!). Even though everyone keeps stressing they wrote the album together, the media still credit it to Gary. Furthermore....I'd like an addition to my Mark Owen-collection! (Get my Mark Owen fix :D)
January 31, 200817 yr still no sohn of mark in the top 75 I've listened to it a couple of times now Shameless - and I feel I have to say ... the song just isn't very good at all. It had its chance on its first release - why dig up old stuff? Norma
February 3, 200817 yr i agree its nothing brilliant but in a way i see it as supprt for him and nice to get his solo music out there as at the end of the day its his work which he is proud of and somehow i think mark will again release some solo stuff
