Oh I see, it's because we probably aren't listening to the songs currently so our opinions aren't as likely to change from week to week? If we think "Will Young - Leave Right Now" is the best song this week and "Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone" is the third best song this week, it's unlikely that next week we will go "Actually, I like this Kelly Clarkson song more than the Will Young song this week" as these will all be songs that we have probably heard a lot already and formed proper opinions on them.

 

I didn't really take this into consideration before, but now it might be a problem. But I don't know, with 75 songs to pick from in the first week I think everyones charts will still be quite different and I don't think that would have a negative effect. Now that I'm aware of this problem, I'd try and avoid doing this if it were made.

 

Another thing I'd like to request, if it wasn't going to happen anyway. I was wondering, as well as posting the what the new entries were that week, could someone also post the songs that re-entered the top 75 that week? (if there were any, I don't know if that would have happened much with no downloads included)

i had sort of an idea earlier, dont know if it would work or how it would work but i thought it could be a band/artist chart everyone would make a chart of there most listened to or favourite band of the past week and then we would combine them for a multichart, just an idea though.

We decided that 2 charts are enough for now. With both Multicharts getting good atention we felt it was better to stick with 2, than over-doing it and having 3. :lol:

 

Maybe we'll add another chart in the future (Chris' idea sounds good) but i'm closing this for now.
