Hmm....

It's not bad, but not good either. It certainly dosn't have the 'Feedback' appeal (sorry for the comparrison). It's just a nice, mellow, so and so song.

It'll probably still do well for her in the US, I wouldn't worry about that.
Well I adore it LOL

Ditto

 So disappointed! It's just not great :( an album track yeah but not lead single! It's just blerghh, don't go nowhere. I wouldn't even want this released as the 3rd single let alone 1st -_-

Well 'It's Like That' was good but it wasnt the greatest lead anyway and then she had another gem...We Belong Together! So we can't judge what other gems are on this one!!!!!!!!

But, tbh i think while this song isn't ground-breaking, it's ok, not great but ok!

Let's just say that this is, hands-down, superior by far to It's Like That. And given that It's Like That was in itself a good song, she can hardly go wrong. Do you guys really think LA Reid and Mariah don't know what they're doing? US radio will be all over this like some foul rash until it becomes the most played song in all of history or something! Will be massive, and devervedly so!

^_^

This will miss the Top10 in the UK, or barely just dent it. Total flop in the UK.

Are you kidding? It's Like That got to number FOUR. It's Like That had less hype and was a FAR more un-UK radio friendly song. I think Top 5 at the very least for this here, and Top 3 very least in the US. Three plays in and I'm BUMMING it!

I'm a Mariah fan; but this v. mediocre.

It's like Don't Forget About Us meets Call On Me

and I think it'll chart the same as the latter :(

Call On Me is a fantastic comparison. New Mariah is as lifeless as I found that song.

I really don't like this AT ALL. I've been a Mariah fan since I was nine and this is such a let-down. It doesn't really go anywhere and it could be by anyone.

That said, It's Like That didn't blow me away first listen but grew a lot. [i don't think this will chart as well as that song btw]

And Kelly - you must remember - that the two leaked singles from Mimi were far from the best songs on it.

Slowly growing now but I wanted something a lot more instant. -_-

Touch My Body. :kink:

Oh come on was I HONESTLY the first to do that? :heehee:

Hmmm I'm halfway through first listen :kink: This will really grow on me I reckon, I like it so far ^_^

Although I prefer Its Like That by far so far :o

I don't like it at all :(

Its so generic, id rather her of go down the Timbaland-esque direction to this which i thought she was quite likely to do.

Its so average and generic.

Well Mikal (who stalks me) sent it me and I thought it was quite good :heehee: Exactly what I expected her to release, freakishly exact actually :\
Generic how exactly? Just what else that's out there sounds like this?

Okay then I like it.

I don't love it yet, but it's still growing on me...

I just have a thing against mid-tempo's (Shake It Off being my least favourite Mimi single...), I really wanted a complete and utter club stomper for the first single. People (still) seem to be undecided on It's Like That but I love it and it really said "God Mariah's back with a bang!" whereas this just says "Mariah is back with something a little bouncy!" which isn't quite as good. Tim you get me, right?

Thus far I must say I do prefer Feedback by labelmate Janet. Although every reviewer has said E=MC² beats Discipline into the ground, so I shall reserve complete judgement until I have heard both albums.

Generic how exactly? Just what else that's out there sounds like this?

Thats beside the point though, most r&b album filler tracks from 2005/2006 sounded like this before the Synth-Pop sound arrived.

Im a big Mariah fan and was expecting her to come back with an amazing single, if this is the lead single id rather give the album a miss.

The last album was amazing though so im hoping this single will be cancelled.
