I can see this reaching #1 in the USA, I think she's out the week I wanted Leona to get to #1 though, so I don't know which I'd prefer as I love both. It's obviously gonna go to Mariah though.

I have a bad feeling for this in the UK though. I think with Madonna, Estelle, Duffy and maybe Nickelback (still?) she'll struggle to make an impact.

Well the video's no.1 on UK iTunes so hopefully it'll go Top 5 when the actual song gets released. She's really inconsistent with singles though, never know when she's gonna flop or not LOL
mariah can struggle in the UK, the media is quite negative about her she isn't loved by the press or radio like say kylie. so she will need to do decent promo to support the track and the good news is she is coming here to do just that. predicting the successs of TMB in the UK will be tough, i have no idea how this will go. but in the US its clear it was going to be a big hit for her.

Well she's doing The Friday Night Project and she's also going to be on Paul O'Grady too as advertised on his show yesterday so she's doing at least 2 high profile promotional dates. ^_^

Yeah up to #14 is good, still on Airplay alone mind you. It's released digitally on the 24th which means that IF the track is going to #1 it'll be 2 weeks before the album release. Come on Mariah, make it 18! :D

I'm starting to like this, even if it is a bit lazy..

I adore now <3

The video just topped it off for me  I think its gonna do OK in the UK. Not sure it will match "Its Like That's" peak though...

She's gonna be on Paul O Grady? :o When. :o

The promotion in the UK seems pretty healthy - I don't think Top 3 is out of reach.

I don't know, it was the other day when Girls Aloud were on (which I was watching to see if Cheryl mentioned her sham of a marriage...) before the break came on it said "coming soon, Mariah Carey..." and some other person which I obviously wasn't paying attention to. So who knows? Keep checking MariahDaily they'll keep you up to date. ^_^

Wow. :o

Paul O Grady and Friday Night Project promotion is just.. amazing. :o

I just re-watched the TMB performance from SNL and I really didn't think it was all that bad.
I think the SNL performance of Touch My Body was very strained and poor indeed, but Migrate was pretty good. ^_^

The performance of Touch My Body was a mess!

Its not a good song to sing live! :(

Touch My Body is up 4 to 36 on the UK airplay chart this week. It looks as if Radio 1 will be keeping it on the B-list, so I don't know how well this all bodes for the UK download release tomorrow; hopefully it'll still rise fast thanks to the video airplay.

TMB got added to US iTunes today! It's at #60 right now, up from #103 a few hours ago. There's some confusion about when it will be added to the UK iTunes; some fans are saying it'll be tonight or tomorrow morning. I hope so!

Also when the CD goes on sale here next Monday, there are 2 versions - a 1-track and an enhanced - but I can't find tracklists.
