January 30, 200817 yr AWFUL sales for albums, we do better than that here some weeks :o (Well, the #1 sales we do) But fantastic she's so high, and her singles/songs are doing brilliantly!
January 30, 200817 yr Natasha Bedingfield's N.B goes US top three Source: MW By Stuart Clarke Natasha Bedingfield’s second studio album, N.B, has entered the Billboard 200 Album chart at number three this week; the highest ever debut in history for a UK signed female artist* in the Billboard album chart The strong debut has been fuelled by the success of a track called Love Like This featuring Sean Kingston which was added on to the North American version of the album and does not appear on the European version. A second single, entitled Pocketful Of Sunshine is currently number sixteen on the US iTunes chart despite not yet being serviced to radio. The song has sold over 41,000 units over the past week. Bedingfield is part of the Empire management stable of artists and is signed to the Phonogenic label in the UK. In the US, she is signed to Epic and the Sony BMG label has sold almost 1m copies of her debut album, Unwritten, driven largely by the hit of the same name. *Though “Introducing Joss Stone” entered the Billboard chart at No.2 she is not a UK signed artist as she is signed directly to S-Curve/Capitol her US company.
January 31, 200817 yr She's absolutely HUGE in the US right now :o it's unbelievable that she's maintained such a high level of success...I initially thought that it might be a flop comeback for her the same way that the (far weaker) N.B. was over here
January 31, 200817 yr On the Hot 100: Love Like This - #11 [New peak] Pocketful Of Sunshine - #65 [Debut] Soulmate - #103 [Debut] :D
February 5, 200817 yr She's absolutely HUGE in the US right now :o it's unbelievable that she's maintained such a high level of success...I initially thought that it might be a flop comeback for her the same way that the (far weaker) N.B. was over here It is unbeliveable that she is apparently more popular over there than here because I love her so much
