I need help identifying a photographer of a specific Elvis picture.

I crocheted the afghan about a year ago from a graph I found on the internet. I don't need the graph's site. I need to know who took the picture from which the graph was created.

 

I'm crocheting another afghan for a charity auction, but the coordinator of the auction is afraid to accept the afghan without permission from the actual photographer.

 

Am I making sense? :doh:

Hi LadyBeBop and welcome to the Elvis forum :cheer: Sorry, there have been so many pics of Elvis, I wouldn’t know the actual photographer who took the particular photo that you’re looking for. I would just go ahead if I were you as I’m sure there won’t be any problems in this case.

Oh, I'm still making the afghan...there's other places. But this one...it's not exactly a charity as it's listed as an LLC, not a 501©, but depends on contributions to keep it going...they work on a shoestring. They're afraid that the photographer will sue for infringement. They won't accept the afghan without the photographer's permission.

 

Oh well...gotta keep trying.

The Beatles visit Elvis’ home in Bel Air on Friday August 27, 1965 during their second USA tour. The Beatles visit lasted 4 hours during which time they told stories, joked and listened to records. The five of them even had an impromptu jam session - at the time no one thought to record the historical event :(
