Courtesy of the FECC forum, here’s some pics I’ve never seen before taken on November 10th 1955 at the Music DJ Convention Nashville. Elvis was voted 1955's "Most Promising Country Male Artist". He was days away from finalizing his RCA Records contract at the time. Incidentally, amidst the festivities on November 11th, songwriter Mae Axton gave Presley the song that would become his first national hit, "Heartbreak Hotel". :dance:
