Posted February 1, 200817 yr Delta Goodrem Has The Max Factor DELTA Goodrem kicked off the new year by finally performing at a Max Sessions taping at the Sydney Opera House last night, having postponed late last year after recurring throat problems. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b335/latefromparis/0586981200.jpg Before the invite-only concert, at the venue where she also launched her album Delta last October, the singer said she was looking forward to a challenging 12 months ahead. But it probably won't include her wedding to long-time beau Brian McFadden. "This year is about pushing my limits, particularly when it comes to performing," Goodrem said. "I've been literally dreaming of what I wanted to do with this show - there's some surprises, including a jazz version of one of my songs." As well as planning a national tour, and with demand for her performances mounting throughout Asia, Goodrem coyly said that she was "not sure yet" about her wedding date. "It's exciting and of course we are looking forward to it, but we just don't know if we can get it done this year," she said. Goodrem's Max Sessions concert will air on February 28. Delta rocks her socks off at Opera House A barefoot and relaxed Delta Goodrem has taken to the stage for an exclusive performance at the Sydney Opera House. The 23-year old was performing for the Max Sessions attended by a host of celebrities including her fiance Brian McFadden, Toni Pearen and Jane Ferguson - the sister of the Dutchess of York. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b335/latefromparis/79464198.jpg Wearing a flowing elbow length purple maxi-dress she sung a mix of old songs and new music from her number one album Delta. Goodrem, who has recently converted to a more adult look, also performed a cover of the song written for Elvis Presley, Black Velvet, dancing barefoot on the piano. "I've always wanted to do that," she said. "I'm going to be mortified when I see the tape," she joked. Asked what she'd got out of living and working overseas she said it had allowed her to grow up and become an adult. "I had been very protected from my family... I had a very close-knit family growing up," she said. "I was able to really not feel that there was any pressure." Edited February 1, 200817 yr by visualisedelta
