I doubt if there will any leaks from any of the actors involved. I'm sure Darius was not the only one under a privacy contract while he auditioned.

 

If you were hoping to get the part later, you wouldn't annoy the guy who might just give you it and you'd make sure none of your family or mates did either.

I want Darius to stay with the show long enough to firmly establish himself as the Rhett.

Well, he has 6months. A year would be better but, I can't imagine him staying put. That lad has itchy feet.

What is a higher rung in the ladder in the West End?

Nothing, really. Les Mis but not Marius maybe more or less equal.

Surely just being given this praise by actual producers etc in the West End opens doors to Darius in the future? IMO there are not that many leading men around or they only seem to use the select few,

Still buzzing with pride at that video!! after all I have had years of people who pay Darius no attention telling me I am deluded in saying he is talented.

I think it's their delusions that he isn't. It worries me. He has become one of the best musical theatre stars. This is a music site but, he doesn't appear on the front page. I could understnd more if it were a pop site but, it isn't. He's in the news all over the world originating a role a lot would die to get ( a bit silly of them beause, if they were dead, they wouldn't get it anyway) and yet people with an awful lot les success than him ARE named on the front page.

Because the GBP know diddly squat apart from what they are fed, and until the media get over the fact he isnt what they wanted him to be, or predicted him to be..its the equivelant of someone putting their fingers in their ears and shouting nananananh so they wont hear what they dont want to hear!!!

I pray one day it will be impossible for them to just try to forget he even exists

And unfortunately for anyone who knows me today..they are getting their ear bent about this video, even in Canada they have recieved emails first thing....but I cant help myself, even the surveyor for the new guttering got some Darius info today, poor man - mind you he had no idea who Darius was
