yes, that lyric sprung into my mind, and yes - when Darius looks at you - well it is intense, I always feel I am going red!! which is embarrassing really, but I feel he can read my mind!!

I can honestly say that I've never felt naked. Thank goodness, it'd scare the horses never mind the people.

Prerston - a documentary which is out at a weekend and will reach millions of people is very, very good. I wasn'r expecting much else until around preview time. He'll be OK.

Apart from the heavy muscles and the thin hawk nose, I think Darius ticks all the boxes.

As I read the book, Rhett seemed more and more Darius until I could only see Darius as performing the part of Rhett.

oh dear..LOL thanks BT - if I had read the book I dont think I would have thought Rhett hansome at all!! a hook nose and eyes to far apart, plus a high forehead..LOL

brings to mind that actor who used to play the pirate in treasure Island..what was his name..ooh arrr..jum lad

 

but the good blood and the tall bit, I wonder if Darius will bulk out a bit for this?

Sorry baytree that piece tickled me, he was quite old at least 35 years!!! and I did feel there was a touch of mills and boone about that piece!! but yes description wise D is absolutely right for the part.

Ashley wasn't too complimentary at first. Talking about Rhett, he says to Scarlett and Charles "Arrogant devil, isn't he?" "He looks like one of the Borgias."

 

I guess that's where Colin Ingram got his "Italian" looking from.

 

I can't think of anyone less like a Borgia in personality than Darius.
