I'm sure it's Cathleen. She's mentioned more than once and there isn't a Catherine in the book at all. It's like Dimity Munto instead of Munroe, probably just an error.

I had just assumed it was - but then spam and I were talking and it just seemed odd.
It's easy to make such mistakes if the names are dictated. Cathleen is not a usual name nowadays.
It'd be the only new character named if it was. Still, we should have that confirmed in a few days.
GWTW is sounding very 'organic' at the moment. I wonder how much Darius is seeing of the creativity of creating the music for a musical. I'm sure he'll be having fascinating conversations with Gareth Valentine.
In the rehearsal picw, Gareth is still altering things in the music. I'm hoping the theatre will be finished when Nina and I pop down for a look. It'd be nice if there were no building materials loose and no building site. Just over 2 weeks to go until the first previews

There just seems to be so much going on behind the scenes in the production, so much which must fascinate Darius.

Just concentrating on playing Rhett can't be any picnic in itself. If they stick to the book, he'll have a series of lengthy dialogues because it seems to me every time Rhett and Scarlett meet, she says very little in comparison.

There's a lot of that going on in Zeleb world nowadays...... people openly using and dropping others at will, marriages of convenience. Putting money before everything else.

In Zeleb world it's not just the money, it's Fame ( recognition taken to it's extreme) and the

Power that usually accompanies Wealth.

It's the way the media grabs the worst and makes it something to aspire to that gets me. If the way the media show things doesn't change, bullying, abuse and lack of morals will be seen as the only way to go.

Two things very wrong in our culture.... the vast power that the media exerts, and the worshipping

of celebrities (most of whom have been defiled by their wealth)

Have the times inexorably changed. Is Darius more Ashley than Rhett? Is he still a gentleman holding on to traditional values and integrity, when the world has changed so much that they no longer count, indeed count against him?
I think he combines the two. He knows what happens and just wont take part and join in the destruction and name calling. I respect his sense of values and know he is not unaware of the world - and capable of living in it.
