And her falling over when he was trying to sit her on the chair. There are other things I'd have been happier without.

I just didn't even notice it wasn't there. At first, I thought you meant one of D's songs, but then in the back of my mind I remembered Jill's little number(vaguely) and figured that must be what you meant. I am sorry you guys will miss that part :(

 

I too would love W.O.A.D. to feature again at the end. It had a real good feel factor and lifted everyone just before they left the theatre. I agree with you Meg, fo the sake of 3 minutes, it's a big loss :( Maybe it will return. I would get rid of that reconstruction song. The actions are well choreographed, but the song isn't one of my favourites.

I agree with that BP....the re-construction is so Les Mis and not needed

It is very much in deed. Margaret Martin's Mum was telling me that there's something about one of the songs that is causing the delay with the cast album and it should be rectified soon.

On holiday the GWTW songs which kept coming into my head were Nobody Loves You, Once Upon A Time and Wings Of A Dove.

 

Scarlett's song at the proposal couldn't have made much impact on me. I didn't recall there being one at that point but then I was laughing at Darius following her around, bobbing up and down.

I think you need to see the show more than once to really appreciate the songs - they are so much part of the action. I love the Women's Song (whatever it's called) and 'Alone' although I like most of the others.

Nope. Can't recall any of the women's song but it did move me at the time.
