The bbc one was th only one I'd seen. Well done to them for reporting a competitors program correctly.

Dont know if this has been posted but dates are showing on my space for GWTW as 4th april until 3rd May.

Thanks, Preston. It's good to see them.

Are there no matinees during the preview weeks? Is that normal for a new show?

Darius has always just gone straight in and done all 8 shows when he's taken over roles in the past.

He did say that he was so busy he found it hard fitting everything in. I should, perhaps, have asked him for his schedule.

No. You should have demanded his schedule. He needs a firm hand.

I wonder if Sir Trevor Nunn knows how poor Darius's time management can be. I guess he must have managed to turn up for all the auditions.

There are no matinees the first week as i is still very much a complete dress rehearsal with no stoppages (apart from the interval). I bet Darius' time keeping is perfect for this. He's also got the 22 April on his myspace but not the 21st. I'm hoping he soughts it out soon.
that is what is confusing me, no matiness on bebo..I cant steal myself to book a matinee at £60 ago,(its not ofering me any lower prices on ticketmaster) and finding he isnt doing the matinees..I have been told to book any satuday matinee but I am still dithering,
He's got both Wednesday and Saturday matinees on his site. I'm just hoping they stay there. Evenings don't work with my Mum.
Looking at my tickets gives me a lovely feeling. Apart from the sense of dread in case he doesn't do that performance.

He's got an excellent track record, as we know but if he's on a long term contract, he will have scheduled holidays.

Darius may not have any choice in the matter. However holidays are usually published well in advance.

I have got to say its always been my fear of getting there and Darius not performing, (a big relief when I saw him)

although it has never happened I am still nervous to book as this is going to cost quite a bit more than the last shows he was in.

That means he is only doing four weks altogether doesnt it, I thought he would do longer, maybe an extension. I have a theatre voucher, xmas present but I assume that will have to be given in person. my husband says that can be for a matinee and seems to be happy I will go twice, I am holding out booking until dates sort themselves out.
I feel the same as darius dreamer about booking and then he might be off as I have a ong way to come.

Surely those dates are just the earliest ones? They'd take up the whole page, if he put them all on. I'd be amazed if he wasn't contracted for at least 6 months.

He may not need a holiday if it's only 6months including the previews. I hope he doesn't need one when I've booked. We'll know next week.
Darius will definitely be doing the dates he's put up. He only ever gives information if he's confirmed.

I think that is what is bothering me, I can get £35? tickets on See..although now I am concerned See isnt a big ticket outlet..are they?? I am used to Ticketmaster, and they have no cheap tickets - I know as soon as I book some better tickets will be released...or Darius wil not be performing that matinee.god what a ditherer I am!! but it isnt cheap..and I wouldnt go to this show if it wasnt for Darius being in it.

I've always booked through Ticketmaster and never had any problems.

I'll just have to pay the fancy prices if I want to see it early in the run. I only really like being no further backthan about row M in the stalls.

I've got into the habit of trying to see D at the beginning as a benchmark and then later in the run to see how much better again he is.

just got tickets for the matinee om 26th april..now watch him not be doing that one..I hate boking tickets!

while I was checking with hubby for dress circle it timed me out..and the tickets then werent available!!

got stalls in end, the cheaper ones were outside seats..and we dont like those. hubby texted me to say dont worry about the prices..yup, funny how he says that when its on my card

lol at the teletext bit, "he told me".....I doubt that a lot.

trouble is they scan a piece of an interview so quickly they misunderstand/misquote it or they purposely look for something they can twist!! either way lazy journalizm
