I have to say, most articles are positive, and there are so many - it is great seeing his name everywhere! seems this is being reported worldwide

plus I love the way that it is in PRINT, what Darius has acheived, poeple will be reading his name and knowing that he didnt just do HMOMT

that he is STILL here, instead of me feeling I have to try to get across to people that he wasnt just a popstar wannabe - we have the news everywhere, listing what he has done.

19 to 27 is a huge difference. There'sa a lot of things I did at 19 I'd never do now.

theres a lot of things I wouldnt do at 19 that I would now..

I suppose that is why Darius is so inspiring, his Dive In attitude,

Mine is just a learning curve and realising that you can't trust everyone. I've really, always done what I think I should - I've just got more parameters in there to make my judgement on.

It's a shame that a 5 minute clip of a very stressful time when D was 19 still overshadows everything he does.

Natasha suffers from this too. She's done lots of films and TV work but she's always referred to as the girl from Species, which was virtually the first thing she did when she moved from modelling to acting.

Wondered what it was all about till it got to the part with Darius on....so glad I didn't stop it :D

Yes that valentine clip was a while ago....but the news upto date :D

If anyone wants to skip Paula Abdul, paris Hilton etc., the bit about Darius is on at about 1min 30.

My pleasure.

I was looking for the Making of Colourblind video when I found it.

It's funny there's been nothing at all on Sky Showbiz. I've checked right back to the 31st of January.

I hope he gets to sing a song from GWTW on something like 'This Morning'

how lucky for us you found that lnk.

I remember that valentines footage well, Caprice is pictured with him.. They were voted as Valentines most people wanted. It was typical in that she was all over the tabloids the next day and he never got a mention.
too true!! obviously he doesnt fit the rigth persona, he doesnt do drugs, or have messy relationships. nor does he wear next to nothing and appeal to the male journalists!!

I really think he has the Ret Butler look in that one - isnt the show coming soon? I can only think of one person with the presence that Gable had in that film!!

LOL, amazing isnt it I traced my post from back in May - no wonder we are all pinching ourselves, althoguh I wouldnt have placed a bet, after all - who would have thought it!!

I must admit, it wasn't one I wanted him to do, except for it being such a good role for him. GWTW has just never appealed to me. I agree though, he is the only one I can think of who wold be perfect in the part.

thanks, BT

Will be interesting, if this new form last year is to go by.

Get ready: A musical based on Margaret Mitchell’s novel “Gone with the Wind” is being prepared for Broadway.

I’m told that a group of producers have secured the rights from the Mitchell estate and are proceeding toward a 2008 production. The big desired star to play Rhett Butler: Hugh Jackman.

I’m also told that producers are interested in Jill Pace, an American actress who co-starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Woman in White,” to play Scarlett O’Hara. Pace, a popular up-and-comer, is said to resemble Vivien Leigh. The show would have its birth in London’s West End.

As it’s planned now, this version of “Gone with the Wind” will adhere to the novel more than the well-known film, still considered the all-time box office champ based on adjusted figures from 1939.

That means that this “GWTW” will be a little darker than remembered, with the story told through the eyes of the slaves at Tara.

“If you remember, Scarlett is really left with the slaves, and they become her family,” a production insider says. “That will be more of the emphasis of the story, with Rhett more of a darker, more complicated character.”

until now the Mitchell estate has never allowed this prized possession to be set to music.

and another bit fomr a news item from last year...

Casting has yet to be announced, but as with the film there will be huge interest in who plays the starring characters of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara.

Previous reports have linked Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman and Curtains star Jill Paice to the roles.
