February 9, 200817 yr funny how people who were in their late teens back then think this way...its obviously a generation thing. but then again music was always better when we were that age regardless of generation... i first heard this back in the 70's when ageing rockers were on about how 'rock and roll was the greatest music ever'... and its a call thats been repeted by successive generations ever since as its their era. of course it doesnt mean that it was the best ever era, its just a personal viewpoint. On the whole, I do agree with what you're saying. Having said that, I'm only 24 (making me a wee 7 years old when this chart was announced). I started watching TOTP, listening to the charts in 1992. I absolutely love dance music - and it's golden era was the 88-92 era. I just had to rediscover it as I was just too young to embrace such an amazing era!

February 9, 200817 yr Erm, I credit Utah Saints, Future Sound Of London & obviously KLF for bringing that sound to the masses. :P Heh - there are loads who can be credited and although none of those bands were in that particular chart I'm a fan of all those acts :)
