Can't these people work out how ridiculous it is to think that a director who's worked for umpteen years at the Old Vic and The National Theatre and brought great musical interpretations of literature, like Les Mis and Cats, to the West End, would need/want to cast a "TV/pop name", with no consideration of that person's suitability and talent, opposite an actress he's worked with so often, in his next big musical interpretation of one of the finest books in American literature?.

I believe all this negativity about Darius is voiced by those who believed all the rubbish said about him in the beginning. Darius has proved their perception of him was wrong, now they just can’t for one minute admit that they were wrong to believe it - well that may make them look foolish :heehee:

 

I believed when Darius appeared on Pop Stars that he would be a star one day. I’m so pleased he has the strength of character to make that happen. He’s well on his way :winner: I feel like a proud Mum :D

Haven't heard that song in a while, but yes, it's another one that can be related to Darius.

Thanks yes my little box next to Darius's forum is showing green, I don't remember ever clicking on it but I must have clicked on it some time ago :D

It's incrEdible how many of us didn't know. I nearly didn't bother as I'm on the forum everytime i COME ON THE SITE ANYWAY.

I suspect that the members who supported the forum and only come in to read, do so from a direct link which they've bookmarked rather than through the index, so won't have bothered to select any OF forums at the time.

 

The membership numbers are not at issue and don't threaten the survival of the Darius Danesh forum atm but if they ever do, we'll need to make sure the numbers are accurate. I'll never forget CC where they kept changing the goalposts trying to get rid of us and finally we went down into the archives but only when every other one did.

I can never understand it. I don't like everyone else's chices but I've never though their choices shouldn't exist - and that's from when I was a child. Insucurity? lack of respect for others opinions? I'm glad there's not as much of that on here. Why knock something just because it doesn't appeal to you.

 

I wonder if the cast recording of 'Gone With The Wind' will be classed as a new album for him to be put on the front page, or do we have to wait for his own - which could be at least 6 months later.

For them, it must be like one of those horror films with uncountable sequels. Every time he goes quiet, they think they've done it and then .........scream.....he rises up bigger and stronger than ever.

You're right and not only where Darius is concerned. Those people will eventually have to eat their hats when they are all proved wrong. May take a while, but it will happen.

 

I still say the three boys were real talent - well, are real talent. They'll last, even if people don't want them to.

You can shake the milk bottle as much as you like but if it's left for a while, the cream will still rise to the top!

 

I'd say the only weaker group finalist was Laura and that's only because her niche was obviously TV presenting rather than singing.

They were good. I really liked Hayley and Korban as well.
