What did she do, apart from Grease? She was in the touring production for ages.

I was sure she would have released somemusic but I don't recall her doing so.

She's worth ten of most of the chart girl singers. I still hope that she will come through someday.

I still like to hear the news about the PI contestants and the the original Fame Academy ones. I had lots of time for them all. They weren't in it because they wanted to make all the money they could out of being a celeb, they were in it because they had talent, loved music and wanted to work with some of the best people.

I have to say, I dont recall any of them. I seemed transfixed on Darius from the moment I saw him on PS and the others were just using up valuable air time that I could be watching Darius! LOL wierdly, I just knew something about him was special and was touching me, but I never had that feeling about anyone else and they just went past me

The first PI I could just see so much talen. I've never felt like that in any of these talent contests since.I wasn't keen on Rosie's voice but I could see that for people who liked that type of singing, she was good. Laura was just so much of a personality that she was fun to see on there, and, still better than most of the ones following.

Iliked Darius best but that didn't mean that I didn't appreciate the others. I think that's why I enjoyed the show so much.

In X Factor, I just feel they don't put through all of the talent, places are given to "characters" whom they know aren't good enough, just because they're good television and we, the audience miss out.

When they do put through real talent as in the case of PI2, people are often given some kind of stupid label or condemned out of hand in a throwaway judge's comment and it sticks because it's round the world via the internet that night and the media keep using it - I'm thinking of Chris who had bags of talent but was labelled "the vicar" by Foxy.( he was the one who kept calling darius cheesy too. Foxy! I ask you.) It was a great joke to him but it ruined that young man's promising career.

The audience seemed to vote for people who weren't the best as well. I know they had internet campaigns for Rik and Michelle to lumber them with a winner who was over weight. Both had good enough voices that that was an insult to them. I have a feeling that Michelle wont be forgotten - she has just too much push and determination - now, that deserves success.

Michelle has talent and it's a shame that all the media could talk about was her weight, anything but her vocal ability and music, rather like they did to Darius concentrating on PI and his love life. Just think if he could've talked on national television about his songs the way he diid in the Dive In documentary.

Michelle is doing well but gets little or no coverage. I'm sure she's in a touring show in the Far East and was also handpicked to sing for a President.

Like Darius, she's invisable most of the time. Her voice doesn't appeal to me but I do think she ws good.

I wonder if they prefer to keep their heads down and get on with the job out of the limelight, rather than being the topic of fluffy gossip in all the celeb mags. Some people have built their whole career on the latter but then they may not have the skills to do otherwise.
I think that the mags are looking for sensationalism. Neither go in for that. When I read the mags, it amazes me that people are upset about some peoples attitudes - the mags make it the thing to do.
true, I think it rather sad, I flicked through Heat in the dentist the other week to find page upon page of shots of young female celebs getting out of cars, displaying their pants - now the girls didnt know, supposedly, they were having these shots up their skirts taken, but to make "new"s out of it, I just cannot see what the interest is in this sort of stuff. reams of shots and gossip about pants or what they look like on the beach or being drunk on a night out..pure drivvle, but it obviously sells - which makes it a sad reflection on society, ah well over 5 millions years of evolution of the brain, to aspire to be Jorden or be on BB, thats why I tend to ignore most who badmouth Darius.

I haven't bought a 'celeb' mag in ages. I don't want to but I think I'll be sorely tempted to soon.

Chris, the vicar had a great voice but I knew he was doomed as he didnt have the look that Simon loves. I always think Simon perks up when someone good looking appears.
I've bought a few mags in the last week. At the moment, Sainsburys have a buy an Independant and get £1 of a magazine. I've been reading a few magazines that are pennies over £1

Well this seems to be as good a point in the conversation to rejoin the fray. Nice to see the reminiscence of PI and PI2 Its still a habit of mine to reprise the magic of PI and the point where I knew I had fallen in love with Darius ... Make it Easy on Yourself. The magneticity (is that a word ... dunno!) of him in PS and the cameo appearances sending himself up between PS and PI were tantalising. I remember vividly the point where I heard he was going to try out for PI, I was in our local garage filling up with petrol and my radio was on and someone elses was as well and I heard the news in stereo. He had turned up at the Glasgow Auditions!

Fascination turned to admiration then adoration turned to solid emotion. Caught, hook line and sinker!! He took my heart and I've never asked for it back!

The morons who believe they can second guess Sir Trevor Nunn are just a waste of good breathable air I would love to see his thoughts on why he chose Darius. Ye Gods! That would shut up the whingers!

Oh and while Im here ... sod the lot of them!!
