February 13, 200817 yr I'm now worrying in case something is wrong with the set with the theatre box office not openig for another month. According to Darius today, they're building an amazing stage. Does he mean set? I found out the last plays at the new London were King Lear and The Seagull and they didn't finish until the end of January so if there's a big change it will take a while.
February 14, 200817 yr I'm intrigued as to how they will do the sets I've still not reached page 2 yet, but I'm really looking forward to seeing this now and not just because Darius is in it. ...but that does clinch it :D
February 14, 200817 yr The actual stage is being altered. That's why they've had to remove the first 4 rows of seats. I really can't wait to see what they've done with it.
February 14, 200817 yr Not sure if the link below is correct as others dont seem to have the information yet but it looks like the stage rotates. http://www.newlondontheatre.co.uk/location.htm
February 14, 200817 yr yes, my husband pointed that out to me, a revolving stage..as long as we don't have any mishaps like Lord of the Rings!! it sounds fascinating
February 14, 200817 yr That's the old seating plan. It still has the first 4 rows in it. I don't know whether it'll revolve or not. It has changed from that time.
February 14, 200817 yr This one is different http://www.theatermonkey.com/ Click for venue by name on the left. Put in N for New theatre and scoll down. This shows their seating plan. Edited February 14, 200817 yr by megham
February 14, 200817 yr this is what confused us, I used Ticketmaster seat plan to try to work out the seating, then my husband found different ones,
February 14, 200817 yr Oh let's have the works, so long as everything does work. I do hope they have great sweeping staircases. I was browsing as you do, and read a part essay and it was about the positions on the staircase indicating the psychic and/or physical state of the characters. It was absolutely fascinating to read.
February 14, 200817 yr I have enjoyed previews when everything mechanical failed. It does make them even more fun, specialy when you see the final version absolutely perfect.
February 14, 200817 yr laugh usually. Sometimes they can caryy on and pretend other times, they have to wait until things are fixed. I like to see hings a bit different.
February 14, 200817 yr Author I usually half watch GMTV from about 6am until I leave for work at 7.30 (unless my hubby is up and switches over to sky news)
February 15, 200817 yr Not norm, ally. I don't watch TV or come on here until my father-in-law s up and dressed.
