OK so we all know that Aerosmith may be releasing a new album this year, or early next year. Any news/rumours etc - post them here!

I've heard that it will be released Autumn 2008 and be called Priapism

Taken from Aerosmith forum....

"On BMI and ASCAP i found what looks to be new songs by Tyler and Perry or for Aerosmith... if they are there on the copyright web page, they must be finished enough.

"Weekends Were Made for Mich" (by Steve Karmen)

"Sweet Due" (Tyler/Perry with Terry Steven Lewis and James Samuel Harris)

"Jake" (Ricky Scott Bird, Supa/Tyler)

"Ain't It True" (Frederiksen/Hudson/Tyler/Perry)

"It Ain't Easy"

"Sun" (Shapiro, Solomon/Stahl/Stohmayer/Tyler)

"Jake" (Bird/Supa/Tyler)

"Sepulveda Shuffl" (Tyler, Perry)

"Thows of Emotion" (Supa/Tyler - reworked Herat of Passion?)

Some sound like they might be very pop ballads, but Jake and Sepulveda Shuffl sound like big rockers to me! "

YEAH its definitly coming out.

I dont think there true.

Tom Hamilton says he doesn't know when there going to start. LAST WEEK

I wonder when its gonna come out, I heard it'd be out around the end of May, was really looking forward to that because my birthday is 27th May, but then last week I heard it could be autumn 2008

I know. Theres alot of messing going on with the new Aerosmith album not to mention the new Anastacia album.

I wish people would stop with the lame rumours

It was the same with the first Pink DVD, we had so many different release dates for that. It really gets on my nerves, if they dont know 110% for sure that its gonna be released, then why raise the hopes of fans by just giving them a date that they're not sure of

US radio/TV personality Eddie Trunk spoke to AEROSMITH guitar legend JOE PERRY on February 15th during Q104.3 NYC's Eddie Trunk Show. According to Trunk:

- Joe is doing two shows with his sons band TAB. They will play deep Aerosmith cuts ('Combination'), some JOE PERRY PROJECT stuff, some covers, and more. These special shows take place at the Hard Rock in Boston February 29 and Hard Rock Cafe in NYC March 1st.

- Aerosmith has had many starts and stops on a new CD. They will start very seriously recording a new CD in a month or so. He feels the band is better than ever as players and ready to make a great new CD.

- Joe spoke about the value and chemistry of bands having original lineups. Making the point that Aerosmith and CHEAP TRICK are the only two from the '70's still in tact.

- Said he can understand why Eddie Van Halen would want to play with his son, but can not understand how they would not have had Michael Anthony back in VH when they were that close to a true reunion and they could bury the axe with Dave.

Apparently PRIAPISM isnt just the name of the new CD, it's also the title track.

Possible lyrics posted on an Aerosmith forum....

"The spring chicken dancer she rolled me all-right..

But this c**k of the walk kept it up all night.

My love's reflected in rainbow colored jism..

She cant keep up with my ole Priapism"
