At least the theatre is being done. As long as my seat is Ok, that's fine. I had a collapsing seat in The Cambridge. Me and the back of my chair ended in the person behind me's lap. They had to send for someone to put it back together.

Neither was the person me and my chair landed on. Everyone else thought it was hilarious. The show started a few minutes late as well. Curtain up was due 5 mins before our collapse. I do like to make a difference in life.

I KNOW you would no more laugh at me than Spam and Nina would, BT.

well it's a good job Nina and I were very supportive.............

Do you think SF might actually turn out to see the world premiere of Gone With The Wind the musical?

and I don't mean spamfritter.

lol

wouldnt that be great - do you suppose he knew all along this was what Darius would excell, after all ALW wanted Darius after PI didnt he, for Whistle down the Wind and at that big birthday party for 19 Darius didnt do a pop number...

I'd hope he would - I suppose it depends on his work load - and if he's waiting to attend the Broadway one instead.

Yes, and when New/Now, I can't remember which, wrote their article about the 19 show and grudgingly printed a picture of Darius, they said it was the first time he'd been seen for ages. They made it sound like he'd been in hibernation instead of working his socks off at gigs (Hampden Park anyone?) and big charity events e.g Leap For Meningitis a week or two before.

I mean how dare he perform north of Watford - such a trouble to keep up with everything in those provinces. It made me so mad, I had to write and that was the tone of my letter. They published my letter. Justice was done. People knew Darius had been busy.

He always says he's been so busy but, sitting here he is still invisable except when I hear of a gig or go and see him. That period though, I got exhausted trying to get to all the gigs there were so many. I think the Maidstone ones were my faves - love the accoustic sets.

I must go up to Simon Fuller one of these days and ask him if he and I might be related. Fuller was my first married surname and its still the girls' name .....

Ive never been that impressed by the man actually. He appeared to make decisions on Darius' behalf which turned out wrong. As we know now Darius wanted to release Dive In as single no 3 from the album but "management" decided otherwise. That could have been his second number one ... and another mistake was only putting Faith in Me as a B side when it was and remains one of the strongest songs both lyrically and musically that Darius has ever written. Whose c**k up was that FFS!!

I think the Spice Girls had the right idea actually and we know what they did. As far as the great and the good lining up to pay tribute, that has got a lot to do with the dollars he has earned But hey, that's his job!

With Darius fast becoming a serious contender in WE and possibly films, does SF have the expertise to guide him any more? What experience does SF have in managing artists in either ?
