February 7, 200817 yr im a Reading person myself and Donington is a bit far for me and the line up never properly appeals to me. But i would love to go for the atmosphere and pits. Lucky you get The Offspring :( it would of been great for them to play Reading. and Rise Against are really only the other good band playing so far. Reading will be the best festival this year becuase of RATM so haha.

Not really a huge fan of any of the headliners, but Kiss would be a good band to see actually play live just so you can say you have... It has to be the full-on KISS experience though, the make-up, the ludicrous costumes, the pyrotechnics, anything else would just be cheating, The Offspring are a pretty good live unit, but I'm not really a fan.... Cant stand Lostprophets.... Would have to check out the secondary stages when they were on....

I agree tho last years line up was miles better, but at the end of it at least you can say you've been. Just down the road for me, so if I need to go home for any reason jump in my car and I'm home in minutes. :)

I don't think Gene is one for half arsed gigs TBH. I don't like them either, but one of my friends does not for the music cos he thinks it's $h!te but more for the stage performance.
