I think they're underestimating Slovenia myself. Romania and Belarus' odds are far too short too! Good to see Norway and Andorra at 14/1 though imo. :D

Paddypower have 33/1 for Malta - I think i might go with them, although a little saver on Turkey at 16/1 would be OK. Ireland at 4/1 with PP is ridiculous. They always overestimate their own Irish entries!

I really don't know what to make of that...the bookies barely agree on anything at the moment except having Ireland as the favourite...I sincerely hope Norway's song quality will be reflected in the points it receives on the night but I don't hold out any great hope after the undeserved non top 10 place for Alvedansen in 2006 :(

If anyone is going to have a bet you need to bet stategically.

 

1) Eastern Bloc countries have fared well recently

2) Apart from Estonia, well-fancied countries have done well

3) Recent winning locations tend to switch between Baltic and Balkan regions

 

I'm going Baltic this year which makes Ukraine, Latvia or Belarus, likely winners for me at 12/1, 12/1 and 16/1

Because this is nothing to go on. Note that betfair have many more countries then other bookies and there is caution before any bets are made.

Yea, it's confusing from tip's post above, the market isn't established with any bets, so the odds are not representing anything yet.

There are no bets on San Marino or German for example so Thisispop is showing lowest possible odds which is NOT representative.

From the top PP top five, I can see four of those in the top five come May 24th - Armenia, Russia, Ireland and Ukraine. However, I still reckon Turkey will come top five, and 40/1 is far too low for them! Israel at 50/1 is bizarre too - top ten for that I reckon! I'd have Azerbaijan a bit higher too, but I can't argue with most of that!
