May 2, 200817 yr Author Nah I still reckon Armenia will win. ^_^ And if next year's Contest is in Yerevan, it will actually begin at midnight in Armenia! :o
May 2, 200817 yr What's with the whole "Armenia is going to win idea"? I haven't seen much to say that Armenia are popular even on this forum the favorites are mostly Iceland and sweden. I think people are overating Armenia's chances, no doubt they'll do well but I really can't see them winning.
May 2, 200817 yr uhmm I'm like 99% sure that Russia wins this year ^_^ :P and that 1 % goes to Ukraine if it's a close but really close vote  hmm...its not as good as Never Let You Go so by rights it should finish lower... Dima's English accent is a bit patchy too...I wish countries would sing in their native language

Has elements of Turkey 2003, Ukraine 2004 and Greece 2005 in it, and with the last two years having completely different winners, we're overdue a female ethnic pop/dance song. Loads of neighbours and $h!tloads of immigrants everywhere will also contribute, and I can't see them being beaten.
May 2, 200817 yr overdue a female ethnic winner because we haven't had one in a whole two years  I'd much prefer a female schlager winner :kink:
May 2, 200817 yr Author overdue a female ethnic winner because we haven't had one in a whole two years  You know that's the way it works though Rich! :heehee:

Don't get me wrong, Dima is a great singer, but the song doesn't seem to go anywhere. It just sounds like one long sentence to me. I'm quite surprised with Iceland, Belgium and The Netherlands being pushed down. Greece seem to be popular this year.... again. I'm not a fan of their entries, they seem to be the same every single year. Oh, and don't even get me started about our entry. <_< Edited May 2, 200817 yr by Cál

May 4, 200817 yr Author I reckon Dima could get some of the gay vote tbh. I mean, just look at him! :o http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/8283/dbilan04ep0.png

Czech Republic would be at 150/1...the new arrangement of their song is dire. I'd have Latvia at about 20/1, Andorra at about 100/1, Ireland at 5/1...other than that, perfect!
May 4, 200817 yr I reckon Dima could get some of the gay vote tbh. I mean, just look at him! :o http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/8283/dbilan04ep0.png SURELY the gay vote will go to the far superior Euroband or schlager queen Charlotte Perrelli
May 4, 200817 yr Author Iceland are being underestimated by many bookies I reckon. If/when they make the final, I can see their odds shooting up. :D Latvia's song makes me want to vomit. I used to think it was a fun, harmless song. Now I find it absolutely terrible. I think Andorra can do alright, now I've heard the HQ! Such a great song, hope it makes the final.

Latvia's song is alright, its harmless really :P it's like a kids version of Lordi and its insanely catchy and not that annoying after one listen, which is all you get at Eurovision, well for those that don't watch the semis Gisela is lucky she's in semi-1 with all of the ethnic sounds...Casanova will stand out and have a small chance of qualifying. In Schlager heavy semi-2 it would have stood no chance as its weaker than Shady Lady and Hero
