I wonder if the DR will carry the photos of Darius and Jill tomorrow and what kind of caption or article they'll attach if they do.

I hope they do. Surely they should be proud of him

Yes they should and so should all British papers but.........we know them better....unfortunately

I cant find anything in the DR today but I have missed things before nor in the sun.

Glad I didn't bother turning the car round to go back to buy one then.

Thanks Preston

Ialso have the mirror and the express, nothing but there is a mentin of duncan james!!!

There's a tiny bit in the Scottish version of the Daily Record

The picture is the one of him looking down at him and her laughing up at him.

Not much of an article I'm afraid.

Why does the DR seem to think Darius is only of interest to the Central Belt of Scotland? He's had more press in America than he's had in flipping Scotland!

There's something positive about Darius so of course it's nowhere in the Sun, not even Bizarre but Jason Donovan saying he'd be a better Sweeney Todd than Johnny Depp in the film warrants a picture too.

In truth Darius would be a better "any top musical hero" than either of them. Johnny's an excellent actor but he's no great shakes as a singer, Jason's average at both. Darius is above average at both.

Here goes

This is the picture

Scarlett rose..[/font]

DARIUS Danesh delivered a Valentine's treat to his Gone With The Wind co-star yesterday.

The Scots singer handed Jill Paice a romantic red rose.

The Record revealed last week that Jill will play Scarlett O'Hara opposite Darius's Rhett Butler in the musicalof the classic American Civil War tale.

Former Pop Idol contestant Darius, 27, has already starred in Chicago

Luckily, I just managed to go and get this. If I'd known you were posting it, I probably wouldn't have. Thanks, BT
Sorry. I should have said. I thought I had the link to the picture but when I right clicked, I couldn't paste and had to go back to find it again.
Considering he did Guys & Dolls in Edinburgh last year they seem to have forgotten about it already

Edinburgh! There's the problem. the DR is a West of Scotland paper based in Glasgow. The Scotsman and Evening News rule in Edinburgh and they rarely acknowledge what's going on in the other's patch.

Read the DR during the Edinburgh Festival, Film Festival, Fringe, you'd miss their coverage if you so much as blinked while reading.

The DR are more likely to report things from London than Edinburgh.

I can't get The Scotsman or The Edinburgh Evening news though. You'd think DR would be interested because D is from Glasgow.
