Okay, I have just watched a downloaded DVD Screener of this film, and I can honestly say that this is one of the WORST films ever made... It almost makes one of Uwe Boll's "House of the Dead" or "Bloodrayne" films seem better by comparison..

This "film" is an absolute INSULT to the great George Romero, it's also an absolute insult to Make-up effects genius Tom Savini as well... Pretty much ALL the gore effects have been done on a computer - I $h!t YOU NOT!!!! And they all look so incredibly FAKE FAKE FAKE!!!!!! Okay, the original had its faults, but, sh!t, it still had some interesting IDEAS and CONCEPTS running through it (such as the corruption inherent in military authority, martial law, the dangers of unchecked medical science and the 'war' between the scientists and the soldiers which ends up destroying them both) that this film wouldn't know if they kicked them in the bollocks... No, this film instead chooses to rather lamely rip off the "Resident Evil" games and films (oooh, virus escaping from an underground lab turns small town into flesh-eating zombies eh...? WHERE HAVE WE HEARD THAT ONE BEFORE????), as well as "28 Days Later" with the "fast zombies". Oh, and now the zombies can crawl along walls and ceilings JUST LIKE SPIDERMAN!!!! PUH-LEEEEEEEZZEEEEE, give me a fukkin' break.....

Absolute, unmitigated SH!TE!!!!! My advice, wait for the 'Master' to return with "Diaries of the Dead"... Or else, if you really want to see how naff it is (which is kinda fun in itself...), then download the screener off a torrent site, you only have to put up with an occasional notice that reads "For Viewing Purposes Only" every now and then.... Less annoying than wasting ten quid that's for sure..... -_-

Poor Mena Suvari, her career really has gone belly up.....

How aboot "Bloodrayne 2"

i think the probs with these "Dead" films is the origs have been made over such a period of time that the rights have ended up with loads of difrent peeps and not Romero - so its like anyone can make a sequel or remake if they search out the right co.

Don't even bring up the Bloodrayne movies, it makes me cringe. The game was so good as well
