I watched it last Monday on TCM. I never heard of it before but since it starred Aidan Quinn and Daryl Hannah, it got my attention and I liked it a lot.

I liked because:

a) despite the usual "popular rich girl falls for misfit boy" premise, it's totally sappy-free. The interaction between the two main characters is full of awkardness, discomfort and she's often sacred of his temper, but yet is easy to feel the attraction between them.

B) blazing chemistry between Hannah and Quinn, including two hot sex scenes.

c) great cinematography capturing a gritty, glooming environment

d) great soundtrack: Romeo Void, INXS, Kim Wilde's "Kids In America"

But for what I've known there is not yet a DVD edition and remains a quite unknown film. Has anyone ever seen this?
