They look good together, don't they, and the article mentions that they've got chemistry.

Let's keep the other one for the "official pictures" thread. It was great having all the picsin one thread when he was Guys and Dolls, I thought.

I've added descriptions under the 2 thread titles

Thank BT I've not read the articles properly....they do look good together.

Can't wait to see them on the stage :D

wonderful, he really looks great, and doesnt look to tal next to Jill, I love the intelligent way they can talk about the production, it makes me al the more excited to see it now
She seems within and inch or so of Natasha's height. She does look like a Scarlet as well.

She's got a lovely complexion, that fresh look like Vivien Leigh.

I'd call her an English rose but she's American.

Scarlett will be great for Jill too. She usually plays the ingenue, the young innocent female lead, totally unlike the tempestuous Scarlett.

Isn't that the wrong way round for their characters ?- She looks so adoring and he looks as if he's indifferent to her whereas Rhett always loved Scarlett and she never knew she loved him until he'd given up.
oh dear is that the plot, I have always assumed that Scarlet loved him and he was never interested so she made do with the wilkes character..I need to see this show don't I, as I have just presumed the plot fomr the once time I vaguely recall seeing it - I was young that is my excuse, and it was a heavy film

Scarlett was in love with the Ashley Wilkes she'd created in her own mind but although she was attracted to Rhett she told him he would never hear her tell him that she loved him.

She did at the end, when Ashley was free and she realised she didn't want him, only Rhett but too late because he walked out, saying the famous line as he went.

The contrast can be no clearer- it's silly that the Scottish and UK press try to ignore it, just because of an image they created which they can't bring themselves to admit was wrong. "It's only theatre, who's going to bother?" seems to be the attitude.

What does he have to do? Get an Oscar ? I wouldn't lay much money against even that.

Has anyone seen anything on Sky at all?
