I was looking at the song list that guy posted. It looks as though the missing song may be back. I really hope so.

In some scenes, you aren't aware of just how tall Darius is. I put rhett is and had to change it because the next Rhett may not be as tall.

He never looks as big in proportion to other tall people when he's sitting down.

So is the song he sang in the first act, other than I'm Your Man, now in the second act?

Am I right to think Darius isn't on stage when the rest of the cast reprise "Gone With The Wind"?

Hehas been and up on the balcony too. The missing song was from the second half. The first half has never been very Darius related althoiugh he is in it quite a bit.

I just wondered if it was another moment like Sit Down You're Rocking The Boat where the entire cast are belting out the showstopper and the only person not there to enjoy it is Sky.

The Sun's standard of 'reporting' hasn't altered. But this I find amusing.

Very Urgent - has someone got a mobile nunber for theatre dircector Sir Trevor Nunn?

RE: (Paul O'Grady Show)

Darius: " If Sir Trevor Nunn asked me to jump off a building, I'd do it"

Sorry, it's just that's so much my sense of humour. I personally, would let Darius have a parachute. He'd probably love that.

Tbh, if I wasn't a fan of Darius or any celebrity who said that, I'd have had the same thought.

Having the thought is fine but publishing it is just stupid at this stage in D's career.

Knowing Darius he'd walk away without a scratch without the use of a parachute. The poor Sun, still haven't got what Nigel Lythgoe did back in 2001 - Darius is a survivor!

You'd think they'd have worked out by now that every time they think they've driven the stake through the heart of his career, it rises up in an even stronger form.

They'd be better going back to their other tactic - ignoring he exists.

I don't expect any different from The Sun. This just amused me - specially knowing how much Darius likes that hint of danger.

Well I wouldn't have wanted him to try throwing himself from the buildings he was up on for the Live Twice photoshoot.

Some of those pictures make me giddy just looking at them. I can't imagine what it must have been like sitting there looking nonchalent.

Quote from a post over on Broadwayworld from someone who went to yesterday's matinee:

"The knock-out for me in the whole show is Darius. He was a revelation and I wished he had been on stage more.

He gives a commanding and assured performance which was for me the highlight of the afternoon."

GWTW the show is getting such mixed reviews - I pray that Trevor Nunn has it 'just right' by press night - apparently yesterday afternoon's performance was still 3 hours 45 minutes!!!

thats great on the whole very postive reaction to Darius, some misgivings about the length and narrating -

obviously not everyone will enjoy the show -

I am curious about the press reviews - it will be interesting after reading gbp views on the previews.

I saw that bit in the Sun - bth I laughed, its a case of if he is knocking someone you dont know or like you enjoy it, it was jsut a flippant remark, irristable I expect..I usually agree with Ally's views on everything else have to say! he usually writes what I had been thinking..

dont you love it when its not a Darius fan reviewing something, after the first braodwayworld review and no mention of Daiurs I was worried, I suspected the post querying Daiurs was hoping for negatives, so to read what the guy said was fantatic - and again just reading the last review, you get through it all an dthen POW - Darius comes out with such praise! I really hope this does his credibility good - I just pray the media dont do their usual stunt and watch fairly

The Mirror - a little dig but apart from that, an accurate description.

Self important pop Idol loser Darius Danesh is brilliant in his new role as Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind The Musical. But be prepared for a late night if you go to watch it. The show doesn't finish until about 11:30. Even so, Darius will blow you away....

Love the last bit but why the first bit

Which mirror is it in...yesterday or today

Maybe just the Scottish edition. I'll make an exception and go and get one later and find out.

The media have a lot to answer for. Their treatment of Darius has been a disgrace and they've created serious doubts in the GBP's mind about him, doubts so strong they're hardly willing to give him the same chance they would give a beginner.

It's nice to see one or two giving him a little credit for a change.

Why the first bit? Humble pie is one heavy dessert, you can't eat a full slice at one sitting.

It's The Sunday Mirror. It's hard to find as it's an added paragraph to the article titled 'Pete in a Paris fix, on page 13. No pic or anything. The only reason I found it is that my Mum was searching the paper for Darius - and then 'phoned me.
