Yes, I think that would be a good place. They'd still be just as close to the performers as in a standard pit. Maybe they could be on some kind of mobile platform which would come out when required.

When you all go to the previews, everyone is going to be so hungry for information and expect you to take in absolutely everything but not take your eyes off Darius when he's on either. It's a near impossible task.
to make it easier....Meg can watch and look where everything else is-as she has such a good memory and I'll watch Darius :)
Normally, we do the opposite Spam. You know what the dressing rooms are like and I don't.
Every laugh and every eyebrow raise, single or double, for me, please, spamfritter.

Oh I can imagine it now...there's going to be plenty

When I read the book I can picture Darius and Jill.

I'm so glad I never saw the film....don't want to see Clarke instead of Darius ;)

That's only because you were too busy talking!!

Ok.

The theatre is still a building site but they are rehearsing there. That means it's nowhere near as much of a building site as it was. The walkways are in the aisles but leave plenty of room to walk by the side of them.

I've still no idea of where the orchestra will be put.

The view from the front row is good.

I didn't see the cast and didn't hang around. I wouldn't disturb them while they are rehearsing.

The first preview is still down as the 4th, they'll have to get their skates on then.

Posters in Waterloo still only have 'the crew' on them and only the old flyers with opens April 2008 are available, again with just 'the crew'.

Oh good...so I will be able to get to and from my seat.

Did you talk to someone Meg?

I'm glad they're getting to rehearse in the theatre, especially if they are going to be acting off the actual platform area. It must it a bit more complicated.
Cleaning the theatre is going to take ages as most of it looks really scruffy. I took a pic of the outside - which looks good from a distance. There's copyright issues with taking a pic inside. I'll put the pic up later when Mum's up. Dad is and fed but Mum's still sound.

The new London just doesn't look at all like a theatre to me in any of the pics I've seen. More like a sixties office block.

Perhaps it will be more like it when the lights and signs go up. The Chicago sign was unmissable. You'd have it in your sights for ages on the Strand.
