The first part is nice as an intro and the last part is informative. It's better to see the actors on video than in still photos.

However, to get each one to say whom he/she plays and where he/she was when he/she found out, is boring with a capital B. Do I really need 10 different people saying "I was at home" in various ways.

What would you be if you weren't an actor? It's demeaning - like a class of Primary kids all lined up to say what they'll be when they grow up.

thanks BT, interesting read

ohhhhh - I do hope Darius is on a lot to destract me, I for one will not recognise any link with Dick Channeys Oil company..

I do hope it isnt a prick your conscious musical,

I don't have one :naughty: ^_^

then again I may just be getting negative vibes due to nerves..

Let the Americans do all that comtemporary comparison stuff when GWTW gets to Broadway..

I'll stick to slavery is inhuman, war is bad cos nobody actually wins in the long run, Scarlett's a minx and Rhett is complicated.

I'm beginning to wish I hadn't booked seats till I heard the reviews.

According to Rachel the blogs were made by another member of the cast, so maybe we are taking them too

seriously. It appears they are not connected to the TCM documentary.

No they aren't. I just got the feeling that most of the cast didn't really care and some of the older ladies were just offered parts by their agents and took them when they could organise child care. I felt that some members couldn't remember all the parts and weren't really interested. It did leave me with very negative feelings. I'm hoping that they all did have to audition.
thats why I am never interested in actors, only the play etc - seeing them out of character isnt the way to impress me - roll on the actual rehearsal videos etc so we get an idea of what it will be like proper - I wouldnt go see this if Darius wasnt in it to be honest, having seen him in Chicago I know he can make it worth while for me.
nope, would have loved to, other half offered, but it was a case of travelling for three hours up there, straight into the show, and then to a hotel for the night, all seemed a bit much for a travel sick 8 year old as we would have had to take her with us. I so wished he had done it nearer than Liverpool
ell for something in preparation for so many years it seems very casual promo to me.

We don't know what's going on behind the scenes. For all we know the deal with TCM may not allow them to showcase anything to the wider public until the documentary is shown.

We're used to a much shorter lead in to Darius promoting on TV. He's never had the responsibility of originating a lead before and this one is so iconic, he's going to be scrutinised in detail - God help Darius if he doesn't come up to the standard of Clark Gable, with years of experience under his belt, in his tenth take of a scene, every single night.

thats more postive..there are videos of the rehearsals gone up, darius speaking about Trevor Nunns direction technique, looking lovely some footage of the rehearsals - that is more like it - I like this better than the blogs  this must be from the documentary

ooh - not negative now seeing part 3 - dairus and the theatre set - we are going ot be VERY close ..

They are great and the last one shows the actual theatre.

"Hi, I'm Darius." .............................."Fantastic!"

He doesn't change.
