Just wondering if we should gather the previews opinions into one thread like we did for Chicago and Guys and Dolls. What does everyone think. Obviously we couldn't get them all in chronological order because they're spread over several threads.
I think we should wait for reviews of the show after it's opened. Previews change so much.
I wish some reviews stopped slagging GWTW off just because work is being done - there's always work being done on previews.

You never know what will happen in theatre. They slagged off Les Mis and the critics also disliked it .

Some people are very confident though and they do tend to know.

First Artist produced interim results in line with management expectations. In the six months ending February 2008 revenue increased by 48% to £27.4m, gross profit by 39% to £9.9m and and EBITA by 6% to £730k. Operating cashflow was positive £344k (£316k outflow last time) after £624k of interest paid. Cash stood at £1.6m at the end of the period and gearing was reduced to 153% on net assets of £7.8m compared to 176% (on £6.3m) in the same period last year.

Dewynters (theatre and entertainment marketing) continued to dominate the business mix with revenue of £19.8m representing 72% of Group total. Contracted future revenues are “significant” including from new show openings such as Gone with the Wind, Oliver and Sleeping Beauty.

Two page spread. Only mention of Darius is 'pop idol reject turned chart-topper and stage star - as Rhett Butler.

It's basically a history of the film and only the last column has anthing to do with the show. Good publicity though. Only pics (large one) Clasrk and Vivien kissing . (small inset) Margaret Mitchell, ( slightly bigger but not much) The one of Darius and Jill against the flames.

Thanks, megham.

Does Darius only take lead roles where he can lounge against the set for a break now and again?

I didn't like the Velma Takes The Stand routine, so I used to watch Darius lounging at the side instead and he is a very expessive and elegant lounger.

Is he up on the balcony in that scene?
