Well it certainly sounded on the video as if Darius had followed Gareth Valentine's direction and worked at it. I see no reason why he wouldn't do his utmost to do exactly as instructed by Sir Trevor.

It sounded as if he was perfect. See, another one practically perfect in every way - just like me.

Im not worried about Darius or the cast, more worried about Trevor nunns vision of this.

I'm very happy that it's from the book not the film.

Yes that bit in the video did draw me up and make me wonder what his vision would be. His productions are not really known for their gaiety, are they?

 

Still, Darius may be taken more seriously as an actor against such a backdrop.

I found this interview with Jill Paice. She sounds lovely. Not much new info though.

I think it should be quite a happy production. She seems to have nothing of Scarlett's self centred ways.

She's apparently been fascinated by Scarlett since her childhood.

 

Having such a romantic, handsome and sexy Rhett will be a good bonus.

One that's fun to be with and work with will help too.

No problems there with Darius. I don't think he'll ever master that Diva thing.

 

I still laugh when I think of him washing the crew's dishes on one of his video shoots.

I think he'd see the Diva thing as very funny or, pure bad manners.

Now I've got a picture of Clark Gable dishing out the teas.

He was supposed to be lovely and took all the pranks and jokes really well........like the scene where he has to tempestuously carry Scarlett up the stairs. They'd done it 10 times and he was physically shattered when the director called for another go. He did it whereupon he was told they didn't actually need it they just wanted to see if he'd manage to do it.

And without collapsing as well. I suppose it's just the things I've read about his private life which put me off him - but we all know what's written may not be true.

I just thought I'd put the theatre on.

I saw Gables biography on the history channel, he had a thing for older women...I do recall that

Darius doesn't seem to have any hang-ups about age difference either way.

 

Rachel was about the same age, Jacqui was younger and Natasha is a bit older.
