I hated it when the media kept linking Darius with every woman he so much as talked to. He's a friendly chap he talks to everyone.

 

They had this imaginary string of girlfriends for him and then they'd do these "who's been with whom" things and he'd look like a right so and so, dating and dumping people.

It was very effective when we knew he was steady with Jacqui and they didn't, and that Jacqui was actually there. I think we may get some of that with this production as it is b eing sold as a romance. The engagement ring is on the other hand and romantic shots have been taken of D and Jill. All three know the difference between fact, fiction and promotion.

There is a picture of Jill paice attending the WOS awardson their site but no Picture or mention of D it was on 24 feb. Was D at the oscars or did WOS just not mention him I wonder.

I definitely don't think he was at the Oscars - there are plenty of pictures of Natasha at Elton's party (looking stunning!! :D ), Simon Cowell and Terri were there, along with Seal and Heidi Klum and Nadine from Girls Aloud, but no sign of D!!! I think he is probably working very hard!!

Maybe Darius just had a nice, relaxing weekend in Scotland. It's less than 3 weeks since he and Natasha had a break together in New York.

Needless to say the performances were incredible after the auction (which raised $5.1 million was carried out). Elton performed 12 or so songs in the end and invited some extra special guests up onto the stage to sing with him. Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters performed and then soul diva Mary J Blige got up and sang Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues. Her voice is sensational but it made me laugh that she kept looking down to read the words throughout the performance. She killed it whether she was reading or not….

 

 

 

I spent my time throughout the performance hanging out with Natasha Henstridge of Species fame. She’s soon to be seen in the hottest new TV show - which she describes as ‘a bit of a spiritual Ally McBeal type show’ - over here where she stars opposite Johnny Lee Miller and George Michael. We danced to Tiny Dancer and Rocket Man. I guess I was filling in for her boy toy Darius Danesh who’s currently rehearsing in London for Gone with the Wind.

 

 

Well there's our answer - his carbon footprint won't be as huge as we suspected.

HE’S CHEESIER than a quadruple cheese pizza with extra mozzarella on top, but I have a soft spot for Darius Danesh. The comeback kid has relaunched his career by landing the coveted role of Rhett Butler in the stage version of Gone With The Wind. Clark Gable’s shoes are mighty big ones to fill, but I reckon former Pop Idol Darius should do a fine job. After all, he was a big hit in the West End musical Chicago and he just oozes confidence and charm. I wish him all the best.
