Posted February 15, 200817 yr Great news for any Irish members here! And anyone in the UK who can receive the RTE channels. :o Just seen on ESC Today that they are planning to broadcast both semi-finals and the final. Not sure if they'll both be on RTE One, but all the same, great news for Irish people. :D No doubt the BBC will opt for that Lily Allen chatshow and an 'EastEnders' repeat, rather than showing the semi-final we don't have to broadcast on their THIRD channel. -_-
February 15, 200817 yr Let me get this right - even though Ireland aren't in SF2, they'll still be showing it? Jess now starts ringing round her Irish family.

That is correct. :magic: They are in the one on Tuesday 20/05/08, but are also showing the one on Thursday too. Though actually, the BBC are showing the Thursday one, so it doesn't make much difference to UK viewers. :heehee:
February 19, 200817 yr Jess now starts ringing round her Irish family. Actually, I don't have to - Spain's showing SF1, and it's probably gonna be on TVE Internacional. Which is available on Sky. I can see this channel, plus I can understand Spanish.
February 19, 200817 yr Well I suppose it wouldn't really matter, because the BBC is broadcasting the semi-final that Ireland isn't in, so it would work out okay. But that's good new for Irish people I guess.
