February 21, 200817 yr I've never seen Oklahoma. ..but I loved Carousel....I could see Darius in that...but I'd rather him do his own Tour
February 21, 200817 yr ALBUM, his own ALBUM. Anyone want to guess what I'd like to happen after Broadway?
February 21, 200817 yr Or before Broadway. Just as soon as he can. Not that I have any trouble waiting at all.
February 21, 200817 yr I still like my idea - six months' writing/recording, three months in theatre/films/TV and 3 months touring in his own concerts per annum ( if he can write a book while touring, he can write songs!). Edited February 21, 200817 yr by Baytree
February 22, 200817 yr That's the dream. The nightmare is losing Darius permanently to the States and GWTW could be the catalyst for that. He'd got to the stage where they were offering him film roles, so they're going to do it again. I know he could keep turning them down but filming is yet another new challenge. I think we know him well enough to know it would happen. I wish him every success but I'm worried about what that very success could bring. I'm scared that our singer/songwriter - actor, could fast become actor who sings and writing his own music would fall by the wayside because he's too busy. It would be a terrible loss.
February 22, 200817 yr I know. I do feel that he'll be in the states for work now. I would still like him to be successful and happy, and if that's what it takes, I'll accept that and would want that for him. I'd feel a little sad that we'd lost seeing him though. Well, a lot sadreally but, I wouldn't want to change it.
February 24, 200817 yr For me, Darius is irreplacable. I haven't got close to being interested in anyone else.
February 24, 200817 yr For me, Darius is irreplacable Ditto BT, but I would love for him to become a huge international star, and if movies and stage can bring that for him, I wish him the best of luck :) D has said repeatedly, that he could never see himself not singing and performing, so hopefully we would never lose him completely. Let's face it, for the last couple of years he has mainly been in the US(other than the Theatre stints) so we have got a little used to managing without him :(
February 24, 200817 yr That's true but only because I've always felt that the elusive 3rd album is on its way and from when his Cambridge BF run in the theatre ended, that I would be able to see Darius back on a stage somehwere in the UK within the year. London June 2006, Liverpool May 2007, London April 2008. Just noticed he's working on an 11 month gap - March 2009 ? - New York, anyone?
February 24, 200817 yr I'll start saving up as soon as he leaves London. He's the only person I've ever felt is as talented and the only one I actually really care how his life goes. I'd hate for him to not be around but, I would do anything I could to lose him here, if that gave him his success and happiness he deserves.

February 25, 200817 yr I agree megham - Darius is the only person, EVER, (who I am not connected with personally) who has effected me like this, .
February 25, 200817 yr It's funny isn't it? The voice first thnen the personality and then the worrying in case he's not OK. I think I can let go of the worrying now.
February 28, 200817 yr In the not too distant future Darius may not just be talked about on Jimmy Kimmel, he well be a guest in his own right.
