PROVOCATIVE frontman Adam Levine of Grammy-winning pop-rock band Maroon 5 has been bestowed many labels by the US press. The cruellest, because of his playboy reputation, has to be ‘man-whore’.

 

When the term was brought up again, the 29-year-old lead vocalist deadpanned to The New Paper: “I charge women to go on dates with me. It’s $20, but the price has gone up a little more now. I’m more expensive than I used to be.”

 

With a change of tone, he added: “It’s stupid. All I can do is laugh. My life is good, I can’t complain. So if people talk *** about me, I embrace it with open arms. Give it your best shot.”
