February 25, 200817 yr You can't band people for extra if they cause injury, it should be how bad and reckless the challenge is. What next, a red card if the player is stretched off, a yellow for the physio being brought on and no card if there's no injury at all? No. It was a bad challenge which deserved a red card and three match ban but that's it. It was only circumstances that led to the injury. Had Eduardo's foot not been compltely in the turf and was off the ground instead the worst case scenario would probably have been severe bruising and missing the next game. Does that make the challenge any better? No.
February 25, 200817 yr Is confirmed he's out for 9 months now - will mean he'll miss some of the World Cup qualifiers too I believe. I don't think there's any way Taylor should be banned for more than 3 games either, the distress he must be suffering at the moment is enough. This whole incident will probably ruin him physcologically for 9 months too...
February 26, 200817 yr http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...ticle846077.ece Nice to see The Scum movig journalism forwards... You could proably turn up to any trining session from any team and be able to take 5 photos like that. C*unts.
February 26, 200817 yr The Sun are such clueless idiots. The article totally contradicts the picture as well. :manson: Idiots. Talk about fueling the fire.
February 26, 200817 yr The Sun is known as a gooner paper anyways, even if Wenger was responsible for killing the 5 prostitutes in Ipswich it would defend him to the hilt they are so far up the ass of him and his team of foreigners so this does not surprise me in the slightest, The Sun ignore the fact that Scum's disciplinary record in terms of red cards under Wenger is an absolute disgrace If Eboue had broken the leg of a Birmingham striker on Saturday there would be none of this $h!t
February 26, 200817 yr Their disciplinary record HAS improved. They were top of the Fair Play league either last season or the one before!
February 26, 200817 yr Although having found all the Fair Play Leagues it appears it's actually Arsenal fans lying... Did Wenger join in 96/97? Their record since then 97 - 97 pts (82 Y/5 R) - 20th (a full 20 pts below 19th!) 98 - 81 (72/3) - 15th 99 - 86 (65/7) - 13th 00 - 81 (69/4) - 12th 01 - 55 (46/3) - 4th 02 - 81 (63/6) - 19th 03 - 64 (55/3) - 7th 04 - 61 (52/3) - 7th 05 - 49 (46/1) - 3rd 06 - 61 (55/2) - 5th 07 - 68 (59/3) - 9th 08 (so far) - 47 (41/2) - 5th So they have improved...
February 26, 200817 yr It only counts for Premier League games though, given the amount of cup competitions they'll have done well in in that period another 20+ is possible.
