I do like this year's songs but really only 3 stand head and shoulders above the rest (Sweden, Switzerland & Norway). Last year I had four that I loved (Bulgaria, Belarus, UK, Russia)

interesting to see we agree on the two worst...though neither were bad by any means

 

2000 had Ines, Alsou and Charmed while 2004 had Ruslana, Lena Pbilippson and Julie & Ludwig

 

2001 had so many great songs; both Michelle's, Rollo & King, Antique, Tanel & Dave, Natasha St-Pier, Friends and loads more

2004 had some very good songs, just generally it was a bit bleh :( Ditto 2000, and 2001 for that matter, except 2001's good songs were just amazing really :heart:

This is what I've been thinking too, alot of the songs this year are bit blah to be honest :(, 2007's songs were so much better overall

 

I'm starting my list now, although I've seen all the videos(just once each) some of them didn't really catch my attention so I'll only post a few now. I won't include Ireland since I wouldn't be able to vote for them anyway. I'll just say that I like the song and I think it's about time Ireland has something exciting.
