Let's get it straight from the start - "Elvis impersonators - Who needs them?!"

OK, so maybe the genuinely talented can try to imitate Elvis' unique persona and help fans relive his amazing legacy and on-stage excitement. But male Elvis impersonators releasing CDs of poor imitations of Elvis' original songs - What can be the point? Listen to the original. There is ONLY ONE ELVIS.

But here is something entirely different - and quite an exciting counterpoint too. A female Elvis releasing a CD of classic Elvis songs.

Must admit, I've never heard her so I can't comment, but the review on EIN isn't bad at all B) Looks like I shall have to go look on YouTube and see if there's anything on there.

 

I just don't think female impersonators are that good, how can a female take Elvis off. I am not keen on male impersonaters, but a female, come on!! :unsure: :rolleyes:

I saw the youtube clip that Carole posted at home this morning. She seems a genuine hard core fan, but she didn't sound great the little bits of her singing. I can't imagine many people wanting to see her TA :unsure:

I agree, Lesley. She maybe a big fan, but there's no man alive who could really impersonate Elvis, let alone a woman :rolleyes:
